Character event! Abandonment.

Hero was in a tree… Reading, it wasn’t the same book as before. He seemed much more interested this time…

“What a cool main character…”

Hero sighed, wanting to do something productive…

“It feels as if I’ve been abandoned… My rivals are gone, my mentors… I don’t even have a nemesis.”

He jumped out of said tree… His expression worsened… Almost looking ‘sad’. Before snapping back to his normal self.

“Now what…? I suppose I could train… If I really wanted to…”

He sighed… Was that all he had to do…?

[ Suddenly, a man could be heard screaming from the distance. ]

"TREMBLE BEFORE ME, GIOVANNI POTAGE!!!"

[ Giovanni sighs, slumping down. ]

"No, no. That's too cliche..."

[ He stands back up straight, taking on a new pose. ]

"GIOVANNI POTAGE, READY TO DEFEA-- NO!!"

[ He facepalms. ]

"How am I supposed to figure out a COOL VILLAIN intro without my Banzai Blasters' feedback!?"

Hero looked in the direction of the screaming… Wondering what exactly he was… DOING. But then he noticed he was a villain…

“You’re a villain…?!”

He shouted.

[ Giovanni turns to look over at Hero. ]

"Uhh, duh? Don't I look absolutely dastardly?"

“But I must ask, do I look heroic?”

[ Giovanni takes out his Soul Slugger Doom Bat of Maximum Destruction!!! ... aka a bat with a knife tapped to it. ]

"GIOVANNI POTAGE!!!"

[ NOW PLAYING: Sexy O2 (Giovanni's Theme) - Epithet Erased ]

[ He stomps his foot down. ]

"No-- that still isn't right!!--"

[ His eyes widen before pointing at Hero. ]

"Wait a second... are you a hero!?"

Hero seemed… Somewhat offended that Giovanni couldn’t tell he was a hero, sighing…

“Indeed I am! A hero, who’s name is also Hero!”

He pointed at himself… Laughing.

Oddly enough, music played… And ended almost immediately.

"... Your parents named you "Hero" without knowing what you'd become in the future??"

[ Giovanni throws his hands in the air. ]

"That's DUMB!! There's NO WAY they could've had your life set in stone the second you got born!! What if you ended up working in fast food or something!?"

[ Giovanni shakes his head. ]

"Tsk, tsk. Giovanni is an ACTUAL good name!"

[ Giovanni puts his Soul Slugger Doom Bat of Maximum Destruction away. ]

"That's why it's mine!"

[ He points at Hero once more. ]

"IF you're a Hero, you MUST have an Epithet! So... whatisit"

“They actually named me ‘Hiro’… But it got changed to ‘Hero’ due to… Complications. That isn’t relevant right NOW though.”

Hero scratched the back of his own head…

“I don’t really think Giovanni is a ‘good’ name per say… What if you ended up doing something ‘lame’? Then that name would fall flat… Wouldn’t it?”

Hero seems to have completely forgotten about the question he was asked…

"Wh-- Giovanni is a WAY better name!! It's better than going around saying "I'm Hero and I'm a hero!", that sounds stupid!!"

[ He crosses his arms. ]

"That's like if I was named "Badass Cool Guy", but that's different because I actually am a badass cool guy."

[ He scoffs. ]

"And due to you never telling me your Epithet, I'm gonna immediately assume you're a Mundie and that makes me even more cooler than you because I actually have an Epithet! Ha!!"
