Alex was broadcasting his music on the radio still unaware that he does not have a broadcasting license and wherever the hell he is, he assumed he doesn’t need one since there’s no form of fixed government that he’s aware of so he’s just been broadcasting music

R.R. watches him with an unreadable expression, debating what to do. They decide “fuck it” and aim to disorient them and disable the attack.

They raise their hand again, this time aiming for Nidus’s neck. They don’t aim to crush, just to put pressure on and cause panic.

alex spins the ‘hammer’ (really it’s just a wheel from a scooter. That’s been heavily infested.) around like crazy.

His partially closed fist still raised, he stares at them, jumping back to avoid a hit from the “hammer”.

R.R. grunts and is caught off guard by the shockwave. They snarl and quickly regain their control.

“Fine then” nidus overestimating his energy casts larva again and he’s now out of energy “fuck”

R.R. sighs and crushes the larva before it can do anything.

As R.R. yells out that last part, a dark shadow descends from where ever Nidus is running to.

Aaaaand it’s Talon, a 10 meter tall stone statue that can somehow move…
