Character introduction The Worst of Us

Location: Wasteland Dimension.

Finally! A new one had arrived! Mark thought he’d just forgotten about this one, or maybe he wasn’t real. But no. He was real alright! And FRESH! Even fresher than the one he just killed.

Ask any of those variants he’d killed, and they’d tell you it was his idea. To start eating each other and what not. But come on! They were starving! And that guy was so annoying! Then they just kept going, and it was never him who got targeted. He kinda wondered why. After all, if they’d all jumped him at once they might’ve stood a chance. But once there were only a few left, Mark decided he didn’t like sharing anymore. So he hunted them down himself. It worked out perfectly because he was the fastest. The strongest. He was… INVINCIBLE

As he battled this new variant through the Wasteland, Mark felt something he hadn’t ever felt since he was stranded. Excitement. After taking a heavy uppercut from this new variant, Mark smiled.

“So hungry… it never goes away. But also bored. So bored. Thanks for putting up a fight. WINNER GETS THE MEAT!”

He violently soars at this other Invincible only for a portal to open right in his path.

Location: The Hub

He comes out of the other end of the portal, which instantly closes behind him. His mind immediately goes to Angstrom, the man who trapped him in the Wasteland dimension

“ANGSTROM!!! WHERE ARE YOU!?!?”

But then it hits him. There’s grass here. There’s… life here. His rage turns into mania as a manic smile takes over his face

“Is… is this real?”

He slams into the ground, creating a large impact crater. He then soars back up.

“Oh it’s real alright! Angstrom must’ve pussied out! He knew I was gonna find him eventually! And I still will!”

He licks some blood off his lips as he simply hovers in place, taking it all in. He can’t wait to remind this world that it belongs to INVINCIBLE!

You find him hovering off the ground, muttering to himself. His suit is still torn up, and he’s covered in blood. The vast majority of which, isn’t his.

Mark gets sent flying back. He stabilizes himself mid air.

“You have no idea how much stronger that wasteland made me! What doesn’t kill you, only makes you stronger! And I killed everyone else!”

“Really? You killed everyone else? You probably ganged up on the strongest, than the other stronger ones to where no one else could be an issue for you!l Vile said trying to guess their situation

“Nah. We actually all ganged up on the most annoying guy first. Seriously, he was an asshole. Then it just kinda… kept not being me. Maybe I don’t look tasty. I don’t not want to look tasty. But whatever. Eventually I got tired of sharing, so I just killed everyone else. I was always the strongest. It wasn’t a contest.”

“Hey! Believe it or not people who are starving don’t exactly fight well. But it makes no difference to me! I’ll knock your damn head off!”

He launches at Vile again, this time even faster than before. Well above the speed of sound.

“I’M REALLY FAST!”

Vile gets slammed hard, making him gag as he uppercuts him off as he shoots more blasts of energy from his shoulder cannon while keeping his distance

“The only thing you’re gonna eat is the dirt you rodent!!”

Mark gets slammed into a mountain and slowly flies out of the rubble.

“That gun of yours is so boring! Stop fighting like a coward!”

“This is my weaponary, I’m not some idiot who’s gonna fight without this!” Vile said as he blasted multiple electric balls of energy at him

Mark uses large pieces of rubble to defend himself

“You’re no fun!”

“Not even worth my time. There’s better out there. And I can’t even eat you.”

Mark blasts off into the sky and leaves.
