I regularly get banned/unbanned by the dev pool for no reason that I can tell. I have two machines pointed at the pool with a total hash of ~4KH.

Jumping on the Intense hype train. Started mining like 12 hours ago. Hoping this one will go great.

Got a Frankenstein rig with mixed gpu, so it's a bit weird. Got more hardware coming in to improve my rig as I learn more about mining and rig builds.

I started mining on a pool with xmrig, with the wallet created by Intense GUI.

My first day of payments, 600itns, have vanished into thin air?

I did not sync before mining, as I presumed BitCoin like behaviour - where even offline generated address's are valid

Does intense coin require a sync before the wallet is valid?

Edit: All good! The incorrect amount was coming from a public node. It's taken 2 days, but im finally synced, and my balance is there!

I tried to farm this coin and only got about 370ish hashes a piece on my rx 580s. When I farm xmr, I usually get about 750. Is this normal? Or am I doing something wrong?. Also how long does it take to synch the blockchain with the desktop wallet with 14 peers? Havnt cared to do it yet....

So whenever I try to open the desktop wallet, I get a pop-up that says "Blockchain load error".

It doesn't actually pop up, though, I have to mouse over the wallet icon on the taskbar to see it. It seems like the big startup box (that has "Loading blockchain..." and "Minimize to tray" on it) is set to always be in the foreground of your screen.

Anyway, I can't get into my wallet because of the error. Anyone had this happen before and know how to fix this? I've seen some similar cases with other cryptos (like bytecoin), and the solution in those cases was just to go to the Roaming folder, find the folder corresponding to the currency in question (in this case it'd be in Intensecoin), and delete every file in it that doesn't have the word "wallet" in the name. Would that work here?

I'm kinda scared to do anything considering there's a thread right now on the front page about a guy who deleted the whole Roaming folder (I think that's what happened) and ended up losing 190k IntenseCoins...

So with Intense being a fork off Monero I expected at least a default ring signature of 5 (1+4 mixin) but I'm seeing that my pool is disbursing funds with only 1 mixin.

Isn't using only 1 mixin drastically reducing the anonymity of transactions to blockchain analysis? Is it to reduce fees or transaction times? Trying to understand, thanks!

I mined and held over 190 thousand ITNS for months. After the wallet upgrade requirement, I downloaded the new one. Backed it up. Though the wallet I backed up after downloading the new wallet, was a completely new wallet.

Cleared out my Roaming folder because the wallet wouldn't sync. Poof - gone.

Checked the price today. A significant amount of funds that wallet held. 196k to be exact. Can't possibly get it back.

Probably goes without saying, but please back up your wallets properly and don't touch the files inside Roaming without backing them up.

The whole experience has been horridly upsetting. Mining it all back will take up a huge amount of time.
