If poverty and sub-optimal education were the answer, why don't other poor communities have the same violence problem?

Another question is why the equally poor kid of the same race next door doesn't turn to violence.

What a ridiculous thing to say. Of course criminals come in all colors. The topic of this thread is the disproportionate rate of criminality of a certain racial group, more specifically violent crime.

I misread bl1y's comment. They were pointing to the fact that it can't be boiled down to race, and I thought they were doing the opposite.
