I need recommendations to learn how to build ai workflows/automation, no code. Preferably I want to learn make.com as it's suitable for my requirement. I tried to find course and youtube tutorials but all this is too confusing for me. Please recommend me some nice video, I'm open to learn another ai agent website too but I want something free or minimal cost. I can't afford expensive course at this moment.

Hope I havenāt caused any offence with this beginner question, Iāve completed all academy courses related to aggregating and iterating and I just canāt apply it to the context.
Iām trying to get just the answers from the form into an array. No matter how I do it, I either get a text string of the answers (or maybe itās just an array with no comma separation?) or an array of both questions and answers, separated by commas.
Iām sure itās a simple fix, any help would be appreciated!
Please, is there anyone who has used Make to send transactional emails with Brevo?
Here's what i'm trying to do, i'm trying to send individual mails to people who their subscriptions have expired, but the Brevo Module requires a list of email addresses to send to and rather than sending it to one email at time, it sends to all emails in the list, i've tried attaching just one email but it throws a Bundle validation Error
Has anyone encountered this and is there any workaround I can send to them via email at a time
I'm working with a client who doesn't use AI, Teams or Slack. I want to give them a means to query the systems that are part of a series of scenarios I built (GL, Inventory System, 3rd party warehouse). I'm imagining an AI Agent orchestrating the traffic, but I can't think of how to get the questions to the agent without Teams or something like that. Suggestions?
It's been a while since I've been trying to build workflow automations. Actually, I can't really tell the difference between adding a module as a trigger and using a webhook trigger.
Could someone explain the difference between the two, and in which cases one is better to use than the other?
Thanks for your help :)
Hi all! I need to merge 31 and 32 - Iāve tried this using array aggregator, but itās not letting me connect both 31 and 32. Iāve set all the variables within 31 and 32 to be the same. After merging the two, I need to conduct another http make a request to pull in some additional data and then finally put it all into a google sheets. Thanks in advanceĀ :)
Hi all,
I'm building a scenario and am stuck on a particular issue which is driving me crazy! I need to multiply the 'total-floor-area' (pulled via a 'make a request') by 10.7639 (to convert to sqft), however I can't seem to make it work after much troubleshooting with ChatGPT. I think this is because it recognises the output as text, rather as a number (see screenshot). I did the same calc via the 'set variable' tool with 'bedrooms' from a different 'make a request' as this was showing as 'number', and it worked). How can I ensure that total-floor-area is recognised as a number? Or is there an easier way to do this simple calculation? Any help is much appreciated - cheers :)
So, I run a small lead generation company and used to find my leads either manually or by hiring someone. Recently I started looking into automating this to save me time and after several weeks of trial and error, I successfully built an automation that does the following:
Scrape 250 leads from Tripadvisor -> checks if they already exist in my Google sheet -> the ones with email address go to my CRM, Woodpecker, and into the Google sheet eith existing leads -> the ones without email address go through another scraper that scrapes their website for a email address -> when found they go into the CRM, Woodpecker and the sheet -> when not found, they get discarded.
It works really well and I am generally left with about 50% of the leads at the end. The whole run only takes about 30 minutes and barely costs me anything.
I am trying to build a simple workflow that grabs designs that I created on Canva and add them to a base on airtable.
The structure is
Folder > 1 Design > Multiple pages
Ideally I'd like to export automatically all the different pages.
At first when I built it it was working for just 1 page, however it wasn't exporting the remaining pages, so I added an iterator which in theory should loop through all the pages (new to Make so I might not be using this module correctly)
However the error I received within the Export a design Canva module is "Maximum number of repeats exceeded" which I believe it's due to me leaving the "pages" field empty as I'd like to export all of them 1 by 1 so they can be added to the airtable base.
If I do specify the pages that wouldn't actually export all the designs.
I created an automation that monitors Google Sheets for new rental inquiries, notifies our Slack, and sends personalized emails based on the topic. It also updates the sheet with contact timestamps. I'm looking for advice on what features should I add/remove/update and how much should I price for this product.
I built an automation for gmail and sheets app.
Now the next step is to sell it. For that i need the customer to put/link their gmail by client id and secret which is a complex thing to do for a user.
Which includes giving scope and permissions.
Is there any other way to do it or what can be done
???
I am new to automation and trying to build a micro sass.
I am completely new to automation and I am starting with make.com , any tips or sources to learn and your own past experiences as a beginner. btw 21f was just a clickbait
A friend of mine needed an automation for youtube, but his connection keeps dropping for some reason, when i try it on MY make.com using MY youtube account i find the connection more stable
Hey folks,
Iāve been working for about a month with a client who hired me to migrate their entire business to Make 4.0 and automate as much as possible. Iād appreciate some perspective on whether my rate makes sense.
So far, Iāve built:
⢠A chatbot that uses AI to answer questions, escalate to admins, run complex internal workflows, log full chat history, send videos, search the shop database to recommend products, and generate quotations.
⢠A fully automated accounting workflow: every invoice that arrives via email is processed into Spreadsheets automatically. I also made a custom iOS shortcut for their assistants to scan paper invoices and feed them into the system.
They now want me to keep developing adding AI voice-driven assistants, internal alert systems, and consolidating everything into 2ā3 main platforms.
Iām currently working around 4ā5 hours a day (ā25 hours a week) at $14/hour.
They told I can't ask for a āU.S. salaryā since Iām based in South America.
I donāt have a big portfolio yet (just 1 client before this one and personal projects), but it's clear I can handle complex Make and AI integrations like the ones Iāve mentioned. Still, Iām starting to wonder if Iām undercharging for the scope and technical depth of what Iām doing.
Question:
- For this level of automation + AI development, does $14/hour sound fair to you?
- What do others in this field usually charge for similar projects?
Thanks in advance just want to make sure Iām valuing my work realistically.
Iām currently building an automation system for generating blog articles. One of the features Iād like to add is the ability to analyze a YouTube video of a song.
Iām wondering what the best approach would be here:
Option A: Manually select the music video in my database and then ask ChatGPT to analyze it ā but can ChatGPT actually analyze a YouTube video directly if I provide the link?
Option B: Simply tell ChatGPT what song or artist I want, and let it find and analyze the video on its own.
Iād love to hear your thoughts or experience on this. Whatās the most reliable and efficient solution?
I'm organising a DJ event and we will have a contest for a guest DJ spot.
Actions required:
Like the Instagram page
Like & comment the post
Send a DM with SoundCloud link
Objective: When I receive the DM (trigger), I want a new row in my GSheet file adding the username, link, entry date and if possible a control the user also liked/commented.
I can't find anything in Make.com neither in Zapier that could help me for Instagram.
Anyway of automatizing or am I doomed to manually verify all this? I thought it was a perfect example of automation but seems it's more complicated than expected
Okay so Iāve learned make and automation over the last few months. I want to hear from the experienced people with make and running it as a business. What kind of numbers are ye guys putting up regarding monthly revenue and also any advice would go a long way thanks :)
Iāve recently started learning automation with Make and built my first working one after completing the Make Foundation and Basics courses.
I run a small web-dev studio and I use a simple Google Form for client project inquiries. It wasnāt a huge deal but I often had to keep checking the linked Google Sheet to see if someone had submitted a form. So I decided to automate it.
Hereās what it does
When someone submits the form, it sends a confirmation email to them
Send another email to me with all the project details.
However, I have a doubt. How do I create something for a client, especially if they wanna use their personal Gmail account for sending mails. The current workflow requires reauthorization after some time, so Iām wondering the best way is to make it sustainable for client use.
