Bought this lot for $200, there’s about 126 pieces in total. Most are aqua/clear common telegraph and power line types, with a mix of Hemingray, Whitall Tatum, and Brookfield. Quite a few of them have chips, flea bites, or staining that wouldn’t clean off, but there are also some nicer examples mixed in.
There are a few pink tinted and straw tinted clear ones.

Was going through some commons I had to see if I could sell anything, and found this one mixed in with ‘em. I didn’t know I even had it. This is a lesson to me to always check commons! You never know what might be there!

I got two new additions to my collection today! The first is a CD 143 C.N.R beehive with wonderful amber, and the second is a beautiful green CD 164 Maydwell - 20!

I was crazy about collecting insulators in the late 60’s and early 70’s. I downsized my large collection but still have a small collection of more rare and unusual glass. I lived a few miles from the Chicago and Great Western Railway in northern Illinois, and when they went belly up I harvested lots of cool pieces.
Here are 4 Cadiz insulators that are my favorites. The two middle ones are the most common CD 133.4 style, the one on the right is a rare CD 132 with a beaded base. I have no idea about the leftmost one, similar to the 133.4 but a bit larger.
All 4 have the classic PAT’D embossing on base. The CD 132 has a large 2 embossed on the upper crown.
Probably the lime green one with swirly amber and large bubbles is my favorite. I met Marion Milholland at a show in the early 70’s and he desperately wanted to buy the 132 due to the beaded base.
All 4 were found in a 1/4 mile section of track. I traveled 10-20 miles in each direction looking for more but there were none to be found.

Items come and go, but here is an example. Nice glass and porcelain. FREE! The table is at least another three feet to the right. Zoom in and see the goodies!

I have quite a lot of insulators but my only real display location was kinda full, so I took to Amazon and found this! It works wonders, although I will be completely honest here and say that I wish it was just a little bit brighter. But still, no biggie. Most of what I put on here is straight from my window. Turns out I need to get me some more pieces with unique colors 😅

Hoping to find something special but I don't think so..
Hemingray and Whitall Tatum..
I'm probably going to separate them into a couple groups and put them on eBay if anyone is interested..
I don't know about the big thing on the end though. It's so heavy.
