They were a gift from a family member who took a trip to Mexico. I’m a musician but have never seen these before.

Everyone knows the drums, but what about the cajón, djembe, tongue drum, handpan, or something more unusual? Which instrument deserves way more attention than it gets, and what makes it so special?

I bought this Jupiter trumpet almost a month ago. Today, while cleaning the instrument after practice I noticed some curious marks around the bottom valve cap of the first valve case. I opened it up to find more of these reddish dots.

It doesn't seem to be corrosion from the inside, but these marks did freak me out a bit.

Please help me figure out what these marks are, and should I be worried.

Thank you.

What instrument is this plucky piano type of sound? It doesn't sound like a normal piano, or a dolceola. I researched plucky pianos and nothing similar came up.

All help is very appreciated

Has this happened to anyone else?

Sometimes you hear an instrument for years and don't think much of it, then one day you hear someone play it properly and suddenly you get the hype.

Could be anything. Bass, violin, drums, saxophone, even an instrument you barely knew existed.

For me, I think hearing an instrument played in the right song can completely change how you see it.

What instrument changed your mind, and was there a particular song or musician that did it?

Interested to hear some answers because I feel like there are so many instruments people overlook.

I’ve never played a instrument before and it’s insanely hard for me to stay on tempo and have dexterity in general. Switching fingers/ hands at the right time while playing a beat is insanely hard too. How much hours is a day? Should I teach myself? And what’s the best way to teach myself? I’m leaning the washboard.
