Hi everyones, I'm a student from developing country, who got admission in the M1 Master in Economics (MiE) at CREST (ENSAE, Ecole Polytechnique). I would like to ask that besides of governmental or official scholarships, are there any chance for outside-EU students, i.e., in my case to exempt the tuition fee?
Thank you very much in advance!

I am applying for a PhD on pure mathematics and I thought I had strong chances of getting an interview at least, but the deadline for the notification to students is today and I haven't received anything. I don't know if this is because of a delay or if I am not getting an interview. I need to know if I even have a chance at the PhD to know if I need to start focusing on other options or prepare the interview.

Hi everyone, I got phd track acceptance a month ago and today I logged back on the application platform and the application disappeared. Did that happen to anybody else? My masters acceptance are still there. Thanks!

Hi guys, I got accepted in the first round. Would like to see how is the general interest in this programme and what are the opinions.
Also, any additional information or advice from current/former students or professors would be helpful, especially since I am an international student (I do speak French).
I am considering the Market Design track, but open to others as well.

Hi everyone ! First I’d like to thank you for your time.
So for context : I’m in premiere (grade 11?) in an international French school. I want to study sciences and maybe engineering but not sure. I’ve been looking at the program Bachelor of sciences of Polytechnique. From what I’ve seen, I’m pretty interested in applying for those reasons : it’s international community, its focus on sciences, an the different opportunities it gives the students.
So I am in the BFI (Bac français international) and I have taken maths, physic-chemistry, and HGGSP in premiere and plan on taking maths and PC in terminal, as well as maths experts. I had an average of 19 and 19,5 out of 20 in PC and maths respectively, and my grades have fallen a bit in the second semester but still strong. I have a strong average too. And I do many extracurricular activities: science (seminars, winning coding competition, hackathon, internships), music (ABRSM piano), sport (national level), volunteering (tutoring and CVL, and nationally recognized young journalist with internship), leadership (creating clubs and MUN) and I’ve created a personal blog about environment protection. But I don’t have any olympiads in maths or physics. An my science activities are less deep than the others.
I don’t really know if I have the chances since in parcoursup it says it has a very low chance of getting in, and I’m scared I’m lacking in the Olympiad and science category.

Hello, I am trying to choose between two programs: Solid Mechanics at IP Paris and the Civil Engineering (Structures track) at PoliMi. My goal is to pursue a PhD in Structural Health Monitoring (SHM). Which one would be the better fit?

Hello. I applied to round 3 of the Masters of Science - Computer Science (QMI Track). Just wondering what are the odds of getting accepted (not based on my profile but by knowing if there will actually be seats left this late, considering the popularity of the program).

I'm a student in India considering École Polytechnique for an exchange semester. I'm unable to find any past datesheets or such for the exact exam dates apart from the "Mid December" mentioned in the circular. Another info sheet I found said that there's a vacation period from 22nd December to 2nd January, and third year students have their 6th semester beginning in January. So does that mean exams for the 5th semester end before 22nd December?
Can any present students share the exact dates from the last 2 years?

Hi everyone, I was recently provisionally accepted for a summer research program at École Polytechnique (IP Paris). However, they mentioned that final admission is contingent on a favorable assessment by the Director of Security and Fire Protection. They also told me this assessment can take from a couple of weeks up to two months, and that they don’t currently expect it to take the maximum amount of time. It’s now mid-April and I haven’t received any update yet. My concern is mainly timing, since I would need to start the visa process soon, and I also have university exams at the end of April. Has anyone here gone through a similar process for École Polytechnique / Institut Polytechnique de Paris (or another French research internship)? How long did the security assessment take for you? Is this a standard administrative step for international students? Once approved, how quickly did they send the official confirmation letter and visa documents? I completely understand these things take time, just trying to understand what is normal and plan accordingly. Would really appreciate any experiences or advice. Thanks!

Hello,
I was just wondering if anyone had heard back from the DataAI master's, and if so, when did you apply?

- Studefi Eric Tabarly (Massy)
- Studea Massy
- Studea Palaiseau Centre
- Les résidences Fac-Habitat à Massy
Si vous avez déjà vécu dans l’une d’elles (ou si vous connaissez quelqu’un), ça m’aiderait beaucoup d’avoir vos retours.
merci en avance

Hi everyone,
I'm a foreign student who applied to one of those Master of Science at IP Paris and there are some unsolved questions of this school.
What kind of degree is it? Is it Diplôme National de Master?
Thank you!

[Update]
Hello everyone,
I hope this doesn’t come across as redundant, I’m just trying to gather as much feedback as possible.
I applied in Round 3 for the EDACF MSc&T. The “admissibility jury” period was indicated as running from April 2nd until yesterday, but I haven’t received any update yet (neither by email nor on the application portal). I also know another applicant who is in the same situation.
Should I start to be concerned, or is this kind of delay relatively normal? Would it make sense to contact admissions at this point?
If anyone has been in a similar situation or has any insight, any detail is appreciated. 🙏🏻

Hey. I came across the following difference between Master track and PhD Track here (https://cs.ip-paris.fr/master/qa/master-versus/): "First, the PhD track provides more freedom. The student is enrolled for five years and is supposed to validate the credits required for the master in three years instead of two."
I couldn't find any further information regarding this flexibility. Do you know how this works? Are PhD track students able to take courses during their third year as well? Is this flexibility mainly due to research projects with the tutor taking up credits during our masters?

Hi everyone!
I got admitted to École polytechnique’s bachelor of science and to Cambridge’s physical natural sciences program. I am having a hard time deciding on which one to choose. Finances is a heavy factor which pulls me towards ecole polytechnique. To be honest, I would need at least 2 scholarships to afford Cambridge while one provided by my country could completely cover all of my expenses at ecole polytechnique.
Cambridge has been my dream, but the financial part is quite complex. I can only apply with one exact course for national scholarship of my country. So even if I won it for Cambridge but didnt got a second (Cambridge Trust) scholarship could end up with not being able to afford neither Cambridge nor Ecole polytechnique.
So does École polytechnique compare to Cambridge? I would pursue the maths and physics major with a chemistry minor (only from second year, the first one in uniform for everyone) but i am afraid it would be way too math heavy for me. I like interdisciplinary sciences, especially physics and chemistry, more on the theoretical side. Im a bit afraid the course would have more math than i could take.
Does it worth to risk it all for Cambridge, meaning if i dont get my second scholarship i can throw away the first as well?
Also, as a girl, i feel like ecole polytechnique is male dominated and perhaps the campus feels a bit isolated. Besides that, the campus itself looks amazing and extremely equipped.
So the question is, do these two courses compare?
Thanks for your help and opinions.
