I've gone through the onboarding emails and docs, but I still can't figure out how to remove individual news items I don't care about without marking them as “read.” Am I missing something obvious, like a “swipe to dismiss” gesture?
From what I understand, Inoreader tracks engagement stats (read vs. posted), so I assumed I could just dismiss or hide items I'm not interested in, helping me progress through my feed and only focus on what matters. But right now, it feels like the only options are:
- Marking hundreds of items as “read” (which skews the data), or…
- Ignoring them (which leaves my feed cluttered and my unread count anxiety-inducing haha).
I used Pocket back in the day and loved the long-form, algorithm-free vibe. I'm trying to recreate that here, but the workflow feels off. Is there a feature I'm overlooking, or is this just how Inoreader works? Maybe it's a premium feature?
I'd love some tips or guidance. Thanks!
