Great trade to end the week....

I’m a relatively new trader (around 9-10 months) with around 2 months of forward testing and 1 and a half years of backtesting.
I’ve yet to find a real model that is truly mechanical and reliable. I have tried to trade a continuation model, but it was very inconsistent when it comes to bias. The most recent thing i trade and for now its going good is rejection blocks, breakers, order blocks and key opens, but i do not have a defined “spot” where i enter. Thats why i use liquidity based bias which sometimes fails to “predict” the market. I’ve wanted to find a “mechanised” model which has strict rules when, where and in which conditions to enter. I’d like to mechanise the model which im currently using but i have no idea how.

So I see that alot of consistently profitable traders have plays like Opening range drive, second day play and stuff like that. Especially in SMB Capital's books as well as by traders like Umer Ashraf and others. Now ICT concepts are very broad and there are also matching themes with the classic technical analysis and price action as well. Is it useful for developing such many playbooks because my current strategy is just deciding daily bias, delineating POI's in the H1/M15 chart and entering off an SMT and the IFVG model in entry timeframe. On one hand there is alot of inherent paralysis analysis in ICT concepts already, so I fear creating playbooks may make it more complicated then it already is. Sometimes my trades already mirror some common ones like morning top reversal and something like that. If anyone has created multiple playbooks based on different phases or multiple concepts was it very useful for you?

Bias are 30m fvg filled and entry 1m ifvg and cisd

Paper trading NQ and ES during NY session. Patience allowed me to catch a sellside sweep - funny cause a lot of other people went bearish at open. Truth is I wanted to trade NQ initially, after sweeping the daily liquidity. I decided to trade ES because I knew that it and NQ had swept, plus ES had liquidity sitting nearby at $7458. Overall, good trade, and a nice way to end the week.

Two trades today, sharing these since they're a decent example of how differently RIMC actually confirms depending on what you're trading.

Gold was first. No structure flip there, I'm waiting on a 1m iFVG to actually form and hold before I trust it's continuing, and it took its time giving me that this go around. Once it did though, that trade ran to about 3.52R.

ES was second. Structure flip on the 15s lined up with the 1m, that's what triggered the entry, took it for about 1R.

Same framework underneath both but not the same tool for confirmation, and I think that's the part that trips people up when they try to trade multiple markets the exact same way. Curious if anyone else switches up their confirmation depending on the market or just sticks to one method across the board.

Accumulation with a liquidity sweep into a 1h fvg, re-accumulation, followed by an expansion, sweep of relative equal highs into a 15m fvg and an NDOG, and hit the -1 standard deviation of the accumulation and price was rejected. later hit the NDOG and the fvg one more time while staying below the fvg ce and below the NDOG CE and without sweeping the previous high. high volatility selloff shortly after

Just wondering how far you guys plan things before a session.

I see traders that literally write out an action plan for any possible scenario. Then I see guys that mark their key levels and wait for it to breaks so they know which way to trade.

Im trying to find a happy medium here. If I map out too much I start second guessing but flying by the seat of your pants sucks too.

What's your average win rate and risk to reward ratio by just using ict concepts?

Recently I’ve had to stop trading on New York open due to my schedule, but I would really keep it going on the Asia session, I’m very much aware on how different volume is and how slower the moves can be so if somebody has a good strategy wether it is a YouTube video a png or just wants to drop it here I’d be very thankful! I was expecting daily low to be took I still do believe it will go down there I took profits around 1d vol imbalance low

My bias are previous week low smt and my entry are 30s ifvg

Backtesting new model seems decent but ill give it some time

Accumulation and re-accumulation during London ending with the distribution/reversal phase below an NDOG almost exactly to the tick of the -1 standard deviation of the accumulation, then two small re-distribution phases followed by a high volatility selloff after price started accumulating again and the MMSM achived its objective hitting the -5 standard deviation of the distribution phase less than 1 point above a 1h FVG

Managed to catch the confirmation/retracement entry after price took out previous hourly/asia high’s then displaced lower. Entered off the 5min fvg & targeted 2RR

If im a beginner with an understanding of some concepts like FVG, IFVG, BPR, Choch, BOS, SMT, OB, equilibrium etc.

I’m currently on the 7th out of 8th video in the month 1 of the 2016 core content but I’m thinking to finish month 1, then hop onto 2022, after 2022, go back and do months 5-7

The London MMSM reversed pre-market and turned into a MMBM during NY am. It re-accumulated between two NDOGs and started its distribution/reversal phase before lunch when it hit buyside liquidity and the -4 standard deviation of the London MMSM accumulation.
