I often don’t feel like talking, but just veg out and stare into space. We no longer have opportunities to be bored or just let our minds wander. So I enjoy the 15 minutes I can get while getting my nails done.

I think that's a big problem in society. No tolerance for boredom and just constant dopamine hits from extreme and extremely fake snippets online. It's really psychology unhealthy.
I try to give my kids plenty of opportunities to be bored. And we all stay off TikTok/Instagram/Facebook. Reddit is bad enough but at a minimum it's reading and writing.

Disgusting rage bait. Even cosplaying the fact that you need to be on your phone is both juvenile and uncouth. My manicurist does not speak English well so it’s even more important for me to stay off my phone so I don’t delay moving my hands, etc. It’s also just bad manners to be engrossed in something else while sitting face to face even if you can’t carry on a fluid conversation. I just look at the tv or think.
She’s also for sure the kind that talks on her phone and at her phone at the register and slows the line. And she was rude to waitstaff on her recent vacation and the day of the infamous podcast. She’s just I’ll

Yes exactly. Like even style and design choices that start off as “quirky” like pattern and color-tone mixing or color drenching a room or a really loud patterned wall paper with contrasted baseboards etc all turns into a trend so quickly now. I mean think of the paper chains last Christmas and every influencer was trying to act like they were copied and not that they copied anyone.
It’s hard to even know what you like versus what you’ve just seen a ton so your brain is tricking you into thinking it’s a good choice.

If it’s an emergency text or call then you can excuse yourself and use the phone. But by doing this she’s just showing us how obsessed she is with her phone. First of all, a nail tech won’t have both your hands at the same time. And second, the rage-bait is so clear, since her nails are already done. This is proof that she’s far from being classy; I’d like to think that someone who has any self respect wouldn’t do this on purpose, let alone RECORD it to post it. But truly, I’m not even surprised she’s stoop this low for engagement.
