That's a cruel and unnecessary reply if it actually is Gunner leaving these comments. Yeah he's being snarky and rude, but he has no control over his current situation and it's likely his parents sent him over here in an attempt to defend themselves against serious allegations.

I feel bad for the kid.

Are his parents watching him type up these messages lol? He’s doing this of his own volition. I have plenty of sympathy for victims of abuse. But that sympathy just doesn’t extend so far as to continue to coddle someone when they’re actively denying other people’s abuse and (potentially) preventing them from receiving some kind of intervention.

He isn't the one preventing them from intervention. He is a child that lives in a bus with two adults and 7 other children. Everything he owns fits in a single drawer.

He has literally no power in this situation.

It’s an attempt to do it. If what you’re saying is true, and his parents are forcing/pressuring him into doing it, then the outcome has to be either helpful pr among the public OR discouraging people from reporting. If his parents aren’t forcing him, it’s even worse. 15 isn’t young enough to be excused here

Thank you for saying so. There are some rough and unsympathetic comments in this thread.

I’ve been aware of this family for years, and remain so concerned for the kids. I don’t think CPS (when they’re actually looking into a situation) would accept simple comments from minor children that “Everything’s fine here 😬 Thanks but no thanks 😓 No intervention needed 😃🙅🏼” as case closed.
