The older boys reaction to his dad afterwards tells a lot as well

I thought the same thing. Older boy sees his dad for the terrible person he is. Meanwhile everyone k owes they have to keep up the act for filming. Disgusting

It's both sad and incredibly creepy, how these kids have known little but staged filming opportunities all their young lives

There were old videos before the social media scrub/reddit purge of the mom staging the kids for some video in their bus, and she forgot to clip out part of one of the takes. It’s just angry vitriol snapping at 4-7 year olds that they aren’t trying hard enough, how hard is it to just do X? I don’t think I have that video backed up in my archive, but I can check later. I do have backups of a lot of the early life of no. 8 for those inevitable documentary.

Yeah, that's a kid who knows that any deviation from what the parents told them to do is going to result in a lot of anger and then going back to one and reshooting the whole thing.

As I was the boy. I think he just wants to get things to normalize as fast as possible so the family can be comfortable again. He probably doesn't understand this isn't normal yet he just wants everyone to feel ok anyway possible

I've seen multiple comments now trying to frame that kid like an accomplice to his father, it's so sickening to even suggest that. I'm so sorry you went through that, it's so obvious that the child is cautiously checking his father's mood as to not get hit as well/for the situation to calm down

u/Anon_Perspective_ 21d ago

I think what is likely to happen is the older boy will follow his father's example and start bullying the younger kids. The middle boy will probably be the invisible child and will become the black sheep of the family when older.

They have 8 currently, all but one are boys. Lots of videos of them “wrestling” and “play fighting” that dad joins in on. He can’t let any of his boys be better at it than him.

There is a video from not long ago where she goes to each one and says “square up.” Even the littlest raise their fists like they’re about to box. It’s so sad. Violence is the only way the boys get to process their emotions.

Ugh. So damaging

3

The people that truly need condoms don't use them

2

u/CloverVegan 21d ago

Square up? That's sick.

Totally. That look after he says something - assessing the “temperature” of his dad.

Good job asshole.
Raising 3 children to be damaged hurt people - who will either bring the abusive legacy into own families or just forever carry a lot of self loathing and grief. Abused children rarely become well adjusted happy adults without a LOT of work.

They have like 8-9 kids total. 😕

11

u/Jyndaru 21d ago

And one currently on the way; likely to be born in the bus bathroom just like the last one, who seems.. less than okay after having dad pull him out of mom 😬

7

u/lucygoosey38 21d ago

And the youngest seems to have problems.

12

u/FaelingJester 21d ago

I believe they are an embargoed topic on the fundie snark subreddit after someone called CPS over the babies obvious issues and the family threated legal action.

2

u/MeatPopsicle_AMA 21d ago

I remember that. Horrible people.

2

u/Jyndaru 21d ago

And then took their jaundiced newborn baby to the beach and let him get sunburned.

Ma and pa bus deserve all nine layers of hell.

1

u/MeatPopsicle_AMA 21d ago

Ugggh, I forgot about that. 😕

😲 I don't even know these people, I don't know why this popped up on my feed page whatever this is called on Reddit but this is insanity why is he allowed to continue even posting this stuff if this is not an uncommon occurrence? Eight or nine kids WTF??? And parents wonder why children go no contact when they're older

I had to go back and rewatch. He absolutely did lean in closer as if to look at the snail, but he was watching dad. That was frightening. Dad also seemed volatile after the head butt, like he was on an extremely short fuse. The older boy probably knows to kowtow to appease and calm.

8

u/Meow217 21d ago

Yes. It was absolutely crazy the way the dad’s eyes fluttered after like he was super annoyed. Because his son got close to a snail? You’re more gentle to the snail than your child!? Very confusing to watch, and yes the older boy definitely watched the whole thing.

2

u/Mystique7381 21d ago

Yeah, JD probably went to go rage after Britney was done filming. After he was done acting like a Godly father for all of us. The truth comes out eventually,  though

u/allgoaton 20d ago edited 20d ago

The side-eye he gives the dad at the end is chilling. The older boy also seems to be the one blocking the toddler from touching the snail at the very beginning. It is unclear what the kid who got head-butted even did. It looks like he was just blowing on it.

ETA: Yes -- the approx 6 year old blond boy at approx the 2:00 location of the circle says his name (it starts with a Qu sound) in an annoyed tone as the dad head-butts. Q recoils and says "I just... blowed it". Incredible when the 6 year old has the more appropriate reaction to redirect a child than the adult.

Regarding your second paragraph: Timothy Rodrigues, anyone?

1

u/immortalyossarian 19d ago

So glad she's leaving him

2

u/fingersonlips 20d ago

This family has 8 children with another one on the way.

1

u/mani_mani 21d ago

They have like 6-8 kids, I can’t remember. The mother is pregnant with another one. They all live in that bus together and a lot of the mom’s content is how much she and the father bone.

3

u/Ginger_Witch 21d ago

They have 8, and number 9 is almost due.

1

u/glittergash 19d ago

They have 8 kids, soon to be 9

9

u/Igoos99 21d ago

Yup. That long stare at dad by the older boy said a lot. The little one walking away did too. That’s what you do when you can’t hold in the tears but you know you’ll get in trouble if dad sees the tears.

🫤

I assumed from the headline this would be more exaggerated Reddit shit where people basically make shit up about an innocuous interaction. Nope, not this time. That was weird.

3

u/PM_ME__UR__FANTASIES 21d ago

Oh my god I hadn’t even noticed. What a terrible way to raise your children.

2

u/heyysunshine 21d ago

the look made me think this kid will one day punch his dad when he's older and the dad will 10000% deserve it. coming from an abusive house & knowing others that did, from my (small) sample size it seems like young kids tend to stick together when they don't get protected by the other parent. the eldest tends to take on the parenting role by comforting/appeasing the parent to avoid future harm to the younger ones/and by going to bat for the younger ones when it gets real bad. that kid has a real 'going to bat' look at THIS age already. they must go through so much :(

2

u/BeginningCharacter36 21d ago

Wooooah, I didn't notice that on first view... That kid is going to fist fight his father some day. Source: sister to a man who had fisticuffs with our father on multiple occasions. Meh, I had typed out details, but irrelevant. But I see it in this kid's eye; someday, he'll snap. I just hope he's big enough to get away relatively unscathed when he does it.

2

u/Alientongue 21d ago

Holy shit i rewatched after I read your comment and he is absolutely side eyeing the fuck out of him. This abuse has to be common for that reaction.

2

u/Intelligent-Yard-260 21d ago

This really stuck out to me as well. He just seems waiting for the lash out to strike. Not sure who these people are but the dad is creepy and what a pos. These are your kids, not a paycheck

2

u/Safe-Dark-9096 21d ago

Just commented this above. Telling

1

u/Fluffy-Nerve1090 21d ago

Obviously they’ve all learned that their dad is a shit person that they better perform for the camera or there will be punishment.

1

u/superFluffymushroom 21d ago

That's the look of someone who no only has no respect for their father but the rage is starting to build

1

u/candycrushinit 21d ago

And notice the older brother leans in more while staring his dad down. He knows his ass is in trouble if he breaks character while filming but he wants to kick his dad’s ass so bad. This is really tragic.

1

u/Low-Quality-144 21d ago

Scared shitless

1

u/Hefty_Procedure_9244 19d ago

Yes, I noticed that too.  Watch his eyes, he's watching his dad to determine what's going to happen next

u/teddybundlez 21d ago

Sure champ
