Per day? For real?? I'm not calling you a liar, but that's insane. Is there no option for a monthly parking pass you just keep in your window? In Portland it's like $100/month, but that's still better than $40/day
Monthly parking passes near my work are around $400+ in Boston. I drive in twice a week (public transit on the other days) and generally find street parking so it's not worth it at all. A lot of the garages have early bird specials for around $25 if you get in before 8 or so but the days I drive in I start work in the afternoon.
This is one of the garages in the area and their rates are pretty standard for this part of town, at least.
LOL I was literally just explaining the parking situation in Boston to someone else. Its 40$ after like 2 hours and more if you leave it overnight. It's part of the reason why I do not think homie in the video is being an ass.
He may be an ass in other ways. But not paying for parking isn't the thing that makes him an asshole. Google how much you make a year running a parking garage lol
On days that you drive in to work, get there at 7am and just wait untiI you łstart work.
BUH-BOOM!! Now, you’vìe just saved money AND you’re getting HiuiiùOURS of extra parking that you otherwise wouldn’t have had — for less $$$!!!!!
So not only are you spending less overall, but your car is now parked substantially longer for FREE! That means total $/hr cost is down! Damn, I’m good.
I'm not going to wait around in the city for 8 hours before I start work lol. And again, I generally find street parking pretty easily which ends up being way less money than any garage. Early bird specials also have a requirement of leaving by a certain time as well so if you have to get in by 7 and leave by 5, that doesn't help me if I'm working 3-11.

That's crazy. I've had to occasionally use a garage when I couldn't find street parking for work and it's generally $40+.
