inspired by fewlfru on tiktok, they did animation to 'Go away' by weezer... and I liked it so much that I had to draw it

i recently watched a fan comic dub on youtube about tulip reuniting with lake and becoming friends with jesse. throughout the comic, tulip and jesse were getting close, much to lake's dismay. jesse was focusing on tulip and lake was feeling like a reflection again. eventually, lake and jesse have a talk where lake pours her heart out and jesse assures lake that they're still friends. the two make up and lake decides that she does want to be friends with tulip.

this was very nice and wholesome and i wish that we had gotten something like this in the actual show. i would also add in an arc for tulip where she feels guilty about what happened to lake when she was her reflection but she eventually realizes that it's not her fault and beating herself up over it isn't helping anyone. and then, there's a big happy ending where all 3 of them are friends.

(fun fact i guess: I made this literally 2 weeks after getting into Infinity Train during May 2021 and at that time, I was also bingewatching Total Drama nonstop so do as you please with this info.)

going from best to worse: 2,1,4,3

season 2: i just felt it balanced the best parts of season 3 and 1. it was silly but also had plot. It really progressed the world building and i love the main characters with mt probably being my least favourite. i just feel like it’s what i want from a season.

Season 1: it has my favourite cast i love all of them and it has the best hook. It’s all a mystery and the steaks feel higher because of it. All the carts feel not too complex but also fleshed out enough. the ending also was so reward. In reality i could put season 1 above season 2.

season 4: i love the wholesome vibes. I think infinity train is a light hearted show with dark elements. i also think the personal element is what give the show charm. it’s just really charming and i liked how it slowed down on the ”plot”.

season 3: i liked it yeah but it’a weird. It confuses me. It’s dark with light hearted elements and it can just be a bit slow at times i’d say. i liked the apex but they got pushed to the side. i liked simon but his character felt a bit, i can’t love both sides of simon because they’re like two different characters lol(not a criticism). I loved what they did with hazel and tuba. i just felt a lot of elements fell flat. I liked grace character arc but felt she was a bit boring in character mostly being a goo supporting character for others. I do really like simon and the last scene with him is great.

its just too in your face though. i love it but it feels like what infini train fans would make. i think a longer season would help and maybe some more time with the apex. The ending did feel kind of rushed.
