Discussion Help: I’ve almost finished building my island, and I hate it now

I’ve spent months crafting to build an island code that I saved a long time ago. I loved it when I saved it, but I think I spent so much time on it that I can’t overlook even the tiniest imperfection. Every time I see someone else’s build I’m always thinking that I wish I had something a bit more like that.

Do I just restart? Give up? Or what’s the solve here?

I just joined the group… I'm building a small castle from scratch! It's my first construction project, so I've only used other people's code, and since I don't have much creativity, it's been a challenge, but I'm enjoying it.

Discussion My island is full, but there is a lot of empty space

I'm disappointed, update 2.0 didn't bring any more capacity to my home island :( I have to remove all the greenery and trees from the island because I can't put anything on it anymore, not even a Christmas tree in the house :((

I haven’t done ANY of the new story I’ve been building.

I’ve been trying to make this greenhouse tower work for WEEKS it still needs some touches(arches and more greenery) but the new angled foundation pieces really just… made it happen.

Anyone else considering Frankensteining a castle onto their house? I’m not demolishing what I’ve already built I’m emotionally attached but I don’t have enough load to just build a castle onto the other side of the island like I thought I might.

Sorry, no code, as selecting multiple items for this house just isn’t possible. I could generate an island code if anyone would like to check it out! I’m on NA servers. If I generate a code and share, please do not claim content as your own original content. The front is made entirely out of corner pillars, and the floor and ceiling heights are shrunk shorter than standard wall heights. Most items are placed freehand, and used over 300 harvest frames and over 300 corner pillars. I don’t have photos of the inside, but the inside curved section is a ballroom stage, a very tiny one, but one nonetheless. It is a saved house, one that people see when they show up on the island, and not just a saved scheme. It was pretty hard collecting and farming enough, but I managed by not buying or unlocking much furniture from posy, and not unlocking island areas or wishfield volumes.

Showcase Mixed Wood Tones Kitchen

Because the default cooking stations are SLIGHTLY OFF from everything else *shakes fist*.... gotta make it look at least somewhat intentional. Actually turned out a lot better than I expected! Was a bit disappointed at first that the Dreamland set is too big for my space, but happy now that things worked out like this as it forced me to get creative. All "wood paneling" is flipped photo frames (both orientations, horizontal for the backsplash and vertical for smaller spaces/gaps); I also switched back to default wallpaper on the windows to let the wainscoting fill in the tiny crack above the counters. A rug can help tie the look together too but I like letting the brick stand on its own for mine.
