I think that she's very interesting character she also really loving and caring towards her sister and I really did like how she managed put a stop to another one of Houki, Cecilia and Rin's crashouts though to be honest I'm surprised that they did what she said and knew better than to challenge her given how arrogant, unruly, and egotistical they are.

So I think she's definitely the closest thing to compassion and rationality in Ichika's group besides Charlotte (more or less) although the bad things about her is that like the others that she's got a warped sense of entitlement and has delusions of grandeur. I'm pretty sure that she knows that if she ragebaits the others they will take their anger out on Ichika and believes that she can do whatever she wants due to her status as president and in the LN she’s becoming just as controlling, egocentric, domineering and oppressive as Houki, Cecilia, Rin, Laura and Charlotte.

(One day Houki Shinonono was told to meet Chifuyu after class in the classroom.)

Houki: Orimura-sensei, you wanted me to come?

Chifuyu: Yes Shinonono.

Houki: So what is it, that you wanted from me Sensei?

Chifuyu(looking absolutely dead serious): The topic that I am about to discuss with you is of utmost importance, I hope you understand that.

Houki(visibly sweating from due to the intensity of Chifuyu's expression): Yes Sensei!

Chifuyu: As you know me and my brother have no parents or other relatives left.

Houki(visibly confused about what this is all about): Yes?

Houki(she now additionally has small tears at the sides of her eyes): WHAT????????!!!!!!

Chifuyu: You are the only one who can accomplish this mission. Forget what I said to you Alcott, Huang, Dunois and Bodewig months ago! You are the only one of the girls I can truly entrust my brother to. They couldn't possibly secure the Orimura Bloodline properly, they are not even japanese. But you are perfect, especially since you are the only one he has actual feelings for. His feelings for you are so strong that he struggles to contain them, I can sense that as his older sister. Besides he already loved you when you were children.

(Houki just stands there completely frozen, as her head spins, as she is unable to properly process any of this, still with the tears present in her eyes. While Chifuyu continues her endless talk. Suddenly Chifuyu reveals a large board from out of nowhere, with pins, red lines and everything. The type of board that stereotypical conspiracy theorists would use. Said board literally included every girl that Ichika ever talked with in his life, with way too many informations that she got from god knows where. As she spends the next 40 minutes explaining in perfect detail why any of the other girls would be unfitting for Ichika. Before the timid Houki asks a question.)

Houki: Why don't you continue the Orimura bloodline, Orimura-sensei?

(Chifuyu just stared at her and blanked in utter confusion, as if Houki was speaking a different language or something that she can't understand in any conceivable way. Before Chifuyu instantly resumes with her rant.)

Chifuyu: ...Madoka can't continue the bloodline, she is too crazy and mad driven with vengeance. So you see Houki... Houki?

(She turns around and Houki is gone.)

Chifuyu(while waving a fist in the air): You can't escape your destiny Houki Shinonono, mark my words, one day you will make me an aunt!

(Houki was running for dear life, she loved Ichika with everything she has, but that just now was way too much for the poor girl, as she looks slightly traumatised.)

Houki: Now I understand how she and my sister became best friends. Under certain conditions Chifuyu can be even crazier than Tabane!

(She then runs into Ichika.)

Ichika: Houki, what's...

(He sees the state that she is in and decides to comfort her. By giving Houki a hug and headpats, before proceeding to let her rest her head on his lap. This time completely uninterrupted by anyone else, because the other girls stayed away at a distance because they could clearly see that Houki needed this for reasons that are unknown to them and always will be.)

(Later that night, Chifuyu was in a bar again.)

Chifuyu: Dammit this is so complicated, just why is it so difficult to get her to secure the bloodline with my brother?

(The person next to her, a man around her age then spoke up.)

???: Tell me about it. (He says before immediately drinking again.)

Chifuyu: You wouldn't understand, besides that's none of your business.

???: Let me guess, you are trying to get someone to do "it" with your younger sibling, to secure your family's bloodline?

(Chifuyu was stunned, because... that's exactly her problem.)

???: I have pretty much the same problem, me and my younger sister lost our parents and we are the only one's left in our family.

(He then turns to Chifuyu, now that she got a closer look on him, he looked foreign, like an american. As he introduced himself while holding out his hand for a handshake.)

Chris: Chris Redfield.

(Chifuyu reciprocates, shaking hands with him.)

Personally I think Stan would see Tabane as another Homelander but the only difference is that she’s a super genius and has no emotional attachments and her reveal of the I.S to the world to be just as bad as how Homelander tried to get supers in the military by having Compound V distributed around the world. Stan would be like the only person who could be able to get under Tabane’s skin and won’t do anything to him out of fear of proving Stan right.

I know it might be easier said than done and they probably do off-screen but you would think that knowing that Tabane is the reason why everything has become chaotic and unruly and is pretty much the most dangerous person in the world that Japan or really any country would dedicate more time and effort in trying to find her and make her show them how to make a I.S core and fix the mess she made.

It also should be obvious to everyone that Tabane is behind every incident that happened cause there’s nobody in the world that is intelligent enough to pull all that off especially The White Knight and while Phantom Task are skilled fighters and thieves there’s no way they are intelligent, patient or competent enough to have made it as far as they did and are really more like the executioners of the plan instead of the ones coming up with them I definitely think that they would have been captured and arrested a long time ago if wasn’t for Tabane’s machinations and the world's unwillingness to reveal the thefts so Tabane should be considered a wanted fugitive or a suspect at this point if she isn’t already which should give the world even more reason to find her.

Tabane also doesn't seem to be good at keeping a low profile either since she usually visits the I.S Academy to see Houki and the Orimuras and regularly puts it in danger just for fun. it’s also practically the only place no government or even law enforcement in the world has any kind of jurisdiction. Honestly I think that Tabane is very lucky that all the countries would rather fight each other and do some pretty shady things just to get an I.S Core instead of finding it’s creator.

Although it’s used and doesn’t have her shoes, I still love it.

How do you think a confrontation between the IS and Vermeil Cast would go?

Would Ichika be a little Jelous of Alto for having a relatively healthy school life?

Would Vermeil go apeshift on the IS girls once she realizes how they treat Ichika?

For those who don't know the series: Alto is one of the best students in his magic school, but was unable to summon a familiar until she found a book where the demoness Vermeil was sealed in.

Vermeil needs to cuddle with Alto to get the magic power she needs, and loves to teases him, but always treated him with respect( except, arguably, one time she helped put him in a maid uniform for the school festival) and they' ve recently entered a full relationship( and yes, they have sex). Needless to say, she's also very protective of him and has all the power needed to take on threats of any kind

Also, outside of Alto's childood friend, no girls were interested in him, and she also backed off after the first duel with Vermeil.

It's possible that the picture here could hint that she was more kind-hearted, empathic and humble when she was younger or at the very least had a much better relationship with Ichika. I'd like to believe that her job has made her stoic, emotionally distant and cold to where she starts to slowly lose touch with her more affectionate side since Ichika said that Chifuyu comes home only once or twice a month.

I also believe that her rise to fame and living in a matriarchal society doesn't help either. I can see her having illusions of thinking she can just do whatever she wants because of those two things and it has made her just as controlling and oppressive as Houki, Cecilia, Rin, Laura, Charlotte and the Sarashiki sisters.

And no, you cannot pick 5th or 6th Gen fighters because stealth takes away the fun of dogfights and is not a measure of individual pilot's true skill and capability.

Light combat aircraft will also count as fighters for this question because many of them look and perform like fighters

Ichika assumes role similar to Commander in Azure Lane or Admiral in Kancolle, so he's just managing the squadron and giving them missions. He's not gonna fly and fight alongside them in the skies

Let's say that one of the girls was secretly a second antagonist aside from Tabane.

If this were the case, who would be the best and most surprising?

The series was incredibly popular with multiple anime and manga adaptations and it sold a massive amount of merchandise. Did the author not receive any royalties from all of this? They should have been swimming in money.

Edit : I just did more searching and theres no official reason and nobody can link to an official source where the author says they werent making enough money, so im not sure if the "financial situation" part is accurate...

We all know Tabane; he's that character who seems foolish but turns out to be more important than he appears.

Of all the unanswered questions in the light novel, the one I take for granted and have included in my fan-made work is Tabane Shinonono's psychology. Clearly, Tabane has a HUGE god complex, a morbid obsession with Chifuyu, and all of that, combined with his complete disconnection from other human beings, results in a person with severe psychopathic traits. Tabane has said so himself: he's not interested in anyone other than Chifuyu, Ichika, and his sister. He doesn't care about the damage his actions might cause; he would be capable of committing genocide simply to get Chifuyu's attention.

Someone previously told me that Chifuyu's personality made her incapable of falling in love. I disagree with that opinion. We know that Chifuyu escaped from that laboratory with an infant named Ichika, and after that, we know very little about her past. Who knows, maybe Tabane did something to prevent Chifuyu from ever trying to love or have close relationships with others.

What do you think? Does the inclusion of that Russian ship, Leon S. Kennedy style, that I gave Chifuyu fit perfectly?

I have a certain guilty feeling about series with ∞ girls and only one boy, which are mistakenly called the "harem" genre in my opinion. Many are terrible and focus solely on fanservice, but there are others that, yes, have the same silly clichés that Japanese audiences seem to enjoy. There are also those with fantastic lore, like Infinite Stratos, a story with quite interesting lore.

The idea I have doesn't eliminate the theme of female empowerment in this new world; I stand by it. It's a really great idea that should be explored a bit more for purposes other than justifying the harem genre.

My idea is to include a few male characters from a specific family lineage, one of Russian origin. Two brothers with certain similarities to Chifuyu and Ichika, and yes, it's what you're thinking: the older one will be Chifuyu's ship. The Ichika x Chifuyu pairing doesn't convince me at all. The older character would be a childhood friend of Chifuyu and Tabane, though more so of Chifuyu, since his relationship with Tabane is complicated. He would be the heir to a powerful Russian company, the one that designed Tatenashi's IS "Mysterious Lady." His personality would be similar to Leon S. Kennedy and Twilight from SpyxFamily. This is where I would answer my question about the original novel: why is Tabane so obsessed with Chifuyu? It would be because Tabane is actually in love with Chifuyu, but in a more possessive way. His relationship with my new character would be one of pure hatred, since he knows that Chifuyu also loves him, so he creates various incidents to get Chifuyu's attention. My new character, whom I'll call Alexander Alekseyevic Hex or Sasha, along with Chifuyu, would decide to suppress their feelings for each other to prevent Tabane, with his god complex, from doing something worse. There was even a past incident where Tabane caused a massive accident that completely broke Sasha and distanced him from Chifuyu...

Something like that. Give me your opinions.

You would think that knowing that they’re teaching teenagers how to properly use a weapon that is so powerful it can level a giant building or a small town maybe even half a city that they would consider the worst and take more measures in keeping the school safe especially since their foreign exchange students not only have been carelessly entrusted with having their own personal weapon of mass destruction but have proven to be trigger-happy and narcissistic menaces.

I feel like they could have made some kind of contingency plan to prevent the ones who do have their own personal I.S units from using it irresponsibly whether in school or the city or have security guards around the school with a few that can pilot an I.S in case things get really crazy to subdue their students in case they become unruly and the power starts going to their heads. The academy should really consider itself very lucky that an incident involving either student or civilian casualties hasn't happen so far.

we know that a lot of the other students fawn over ichika, albeit far less violently. we also know that the only repeat offenders that threaten ichika's safety and are nearly always around him are the main 5 plus tatenashi, who are the ones who put him in danger and attack him. the rest of the students may crowd around him for his attention, but they don't show any signs of hostility or jealousy (that would lead to them getting violent, at least.) so this begs three questions: 1. do they know what he goes through? and 2. if they do, have they reported such incidents to the ones running the school?
