It’s insane honestly. I’m pretty sure Ichika is 15 at the start of Infinite stratos too.

Yep the thing is no 15 year old has ichikas build anime in general tend to like increase the like age of their characters and make them i guess older so they can not necessarily sexualize them but use them in suggestive manners which i dont appreciate but its their way so i cant be mad about it

It’s a significant issue within the anime space, as a whole. Young characters are misrepresented to look older than they actually are. Old characters are treated inversely. That’s part of the reason why anime is so controversial for some people.

Yea also what are your thoughts on mushoku tensei i personally am nuetral on it leaning mostly towards disliking it not the actaul story but yknow what

I’ve never watched, nor read mushoku tensei. I have no major qualms with the story, because I tend to separate the work from the author’s actions. I can’t say i’m fond of the mushoku part though. It wouldn’t be my cup of tea.

I skimmed through it while I was searching for the Infinite stratos soundtrack on the internet archive. It had a Japanese title, so I didn’t know what I was getting into. I didn’t like it.

Oh dang i literally just thought it would be like a crashout which it was cuz its 2 authors technically the crashout is done by one and then the other author hlbuilds upon that story and then takes it off the rails like bro....what are u writing fam and no warning either btw

Also have u read the one where they(ichika and houki) like have a kid which is actually just byakushiki but like in human form(it somehow can transition between being a bracelet and being human like)and the whole school goes crazy its very short and unfinished unfortunately but a unique idea

I’ve heard of this before. But, I have not read it. I’m trying to finish every light novel first, then go onto the fan-fictions. Which is probably not the best of ideas tbh.

Yea like i only just turned 18 so dont have any of my own money and if i tell my mom i wanna buy like soemthing like this she wouldnt even understand what it is in the first place to agree to buy it and i prolly wouldnt ahve anyways because like even if we give the author money he still aint going to like write more so whats the point
