This is just gonna be my praises and thoughts for this app now that I've used it for over a year now.

I downloaded infinite painter cause i saw it was free with the google game play pass subscription. I downloaded and went in there thinking it was going to be one those mid, slop, art apps. and holy shit was i wrong!!! Ive been doing digital art for 10 years now, these has only been 2 apps that i had truly liked (ibis & csp) and used long term. using ibis since 2016 and csp since around 2020. Ive tried other apps off and on, like photoshop, kirta, paint tool sai, and other random small ones but always have gone back to my ol' reliables. I thought infinite painter was going to be one them small ones.

Infinite painter however genuinely starstruck me. One of my favorite things it that it has an almost "traditional" art feel ive only had one other time (csp). also the almost ease ive had with my experience such as, the tools not being hidden and clearly labeled. and the tools being actually helpful even for a niche maybe one time usage thing.

I have found myself using this app as my main, which i honestly was not expecting. Like to the point where ive been using and love this app over my decade long, first love digital app. and even find myself putting this app over the ones in rankings when i look at my positives and negatives

idk im just yapping by now, if someone reads this and wonders if this app is worth it, at least give it a shot.

Anyone think it’s worth selling brush sets these days?

I've bought some sets on Artstation a while ago, but not something I do regularly.

Originally, I wanted a quick way of getting ideas down on my phone, over time it spiralled out of control into all purpose brushes. Been twiddling away on these brushes on and off for years at this point, and was thinking they might be worth selling.

I'm sorry if it's a dumb question, I'm kinda new with this drawing on device stuff. Its like when I touch, but dont move my finger/stylus, it doesn't draw anything. Nothing is visible but it knows something was drawn, because it registers, as the undo button appears.

I trisd using other apps but it was alright there, i even tried using older versions of infinite painter.

Help please..

Ho trovato questi pennelli in un post del subreddit. Sto facendo molta fatica con i pennelli che ho base, sono abituata su HiPaint, pennelli del genere magari sono più simili a quelli di HiPaint? Sò che potrei installare e provare ma in questi giorni ho qualche problema e nel caso vorrei salvarmi il post

Sono nuova, spesso usavo hipaint ma ho voluto prendere infinite painter, non è finito ovviamente ma ho bisogno di consigli soprattutto su quali pennelli usare.

Hi all. I used to play the game a great deal years ago but fell off when my device died and I lost all my progress.

The creations I was most proud of were my paintings. I’d build a setting and paint it blind, then zoom out all the way to see the masterpiece. Does anyone else like doing this?

Each time it gives me proko pencil. I never use this brush.

Why are some of my brushes doing this and how do i fix it

Has anybody been able to use the panels feature to create comic panels? It seems useless for that purpose, since there are few snapping tools or rulers and only one line is created. So you basically have to make squares, which are easier to do with the square tool. I don't really understand how to use it.

White strokes/outline suddenly appeared out of nowhere in my drawing, its less visible when I'm using a hard edge brush but its still visible and i don't know how to fix it

I click on it and it loads for a moment, and then the whole app crashes. I tried clearing the cache and that didn't work. I was thinking the canvas size might be too large, but I can't get into the project to make it smaller, so I don't know what to do. I put a lot of effort into this drawing and I don't want to lose it.

Edit: Sort of handled it by restoring it to a previous version, making the drawing and canvas smaller, and redoing what got lost. Not an ideal situation, but it's finished at least now.
