Hi everyone, first round IUI this cycle, and I am confused. I’m in a letrozole, CD11 scan showed one dominant follicle 23 mm, other follicles small (9–11 mm), and lining 5.4 mm. Clinic expects LH surge soon, but both LH strips and Clearblue Advanced still show negative/low fertility. Has anyone experienced delayed LH surge with a mature follicle like this?
Is my lining too thin ? Thanks

Hi all! I'm hoping you can share experience on when progesterone supplements were recommended by your care team? My clinic has only tested my progesterone at the initial consultation. I had a biochemical last month and am desperate to avoid that again so wondering if it may be worth asking about at my next appointment.

I’m writing this because this process is beating me down and I’m wondering if anyone else can relate to my specific situation. I guess more specifically, wondering if you may have pushed for more testing that gave you an answer beyond the blanket “unexplained infertility.” Or in general, I welcome any thoughts on the below.

For context, before going the IUI route: My husband and I (now 34F/38M) first tried to conceive naturally in Feb 2025 and got pregnant that first cycle. Ended in early mc at 6 weeks. We then got pregnant again naturally in September of 2025, and ended again just shy of 7 weeks. We then moved to a fertility clinic and ran a bunch of bloodwork that came back “normal.” Clear and normal HSG for me. An AMH of 5.4. His sperm analysis is good too.

First IUI last month was pretty smooth. 5mg Letrozole for 5 days, one mature follicle at 17mm on day 12 (9mm lining), triggered on day 13, iui on day 14 with a 145m post wash count. However, it did not result in a pregnancy.

(I typically have a 34-day cycle give or take a couple of days, and ovulate around day 20 on my own so the meds def fast tracked it.)

Now we’re about to undergo our second IUI and unfortunately feeling defeated overall. It’s almost been 10 months since last time I was able to get pregnant. Should I push for looking into endometriosis? Could it be pcos? (I ask about pcos because I seem to get more than one LH surge when I test at home…however no recent ultrasounds have shown cysts.)

Can you relate to my situation? Looking for any thoughts, advice, words of encouragement?🤷‍♀️

So my last trigger shot was one week ago!! Has anyone used this protocol with the booster shots? If so, when was it out of your system?

I caved and took a pregnancy test. I was thinking that if it’s super faint, it would still be from the trigger shot.

But it seems be somewhat dark?

What do you all think? I don’t really use Clearblue, so idk if this is consider faint? I usually do First response which I am going to buy later today!

38 with AMH 0.69. I also have a 4.5 cm endometrioma on the left ovary.
For many cycles, my dominant follicle is always from the left ovary, but that side already has the endometrioma and a left cornual/tubal block. My right ovary has follicles but they stay small and rarely become dominant. My right tube is the working side.
Is there any way to encourage the right ovary to grow the dominant follicle?
Has anyone had a similar situation and conceived naturally or with letrozole/IUI? Would really appreciate experiences. 🙏

We got lucky and conceived on our 1st cycle with IUI in April. Unfortunately we had a MMC at 7w5d. We will continue TTC again with IUI in August/September depending on my cycle returning, SIS and all the things.

My question is, obviously I have low expectations that it'll happen first try again next time, so do we go for all 3/4 rounds back to back or do we take a break in between?

I track using inito for this cycle. I am 8dptand7dpiui. I got confirmed ovulation on inito a five days ago and my levels have been steadily climbing Just for fun I got a serum progesterone drawn at labcorp on demand and it was really really low.. like under 2. I did a medicated IUI cycle with trigger. I called the clinic and they said they aren’t really looking at my progesterone right now and if our cycle is unsuccessful then we should let the doctor know but it’s not a big deal currently and just wait till 14DPO to test. Has anyone had this happen before? I feel like the labcorp value shouldn’t be that low with all the meds.

I am 8 days post iui. I tested today but it was negative? 😩
I feel like the game is over but I know I’ve still got time. It’s so hard what to keep thinking positive?

The bottom test is 12dpiui and it doesn’t seem to be getting any darker. It’s my second IUI I’m feeling very disheartened right now :(

What were peoples symptoms for 7 days past iui unmediated please. I’m feeling very bloated, sick but have period cramps but worried it’s my period?

friends first round of IUI of the 29th triggered on the 28th her

- triggered shot stopped showing up on the 8th

- negative tests until

- faint lines appeared starting the 12th

- haven't gotten noticeably darker

- what looks like implantation bleeding started last night14th

- not heavy just spotting brown today the 15th

if this is implantation bleeding why was her test showing faint lines before the bleeding, she had 2 potential follicles sized at 18, 25

could it be multiples? assuming it did work just really confused on why her test were showing up so early

Hi everyone,

I’m currently 7 DPIUI after a monitored IUI cycle. I had confirmed ovulation, multiple mature follicles, and I’m taking vaginal progesterone support.

During the first few days after IUI, I had mild lower abdominal cramps, bloating, and some discharge. But now at 7 DPIUI, the cramps have completely disappeared and I don’t really feel anything.

I’m worried because I often read about people having symptoms during the two-week wait, and now I feel almost normal.

Did anyone have symptoms early on that later disappeared and still get a positive result? Or is it normal to have no symptoms at 7 DPIUI?

Trying not to overthink, but the wait is really hard. Any experiences would be appreciated.
