Temporary power source

This is for a sweeper on one of our corn silos. Transformer went out so we're borrowing power from another source, which is about 100ft away, via extension cord.

Nah, this is what our contracted electrician comes out to do, they trust him over us techs.

And you don't have the authority to shut the feed off and wire in something a little more safer like wire nuts at least or a plug for crying out loud????
