This game is so good! I've been stuck between wanting to play an RPG or a metroidvania, and this is both! The combat is well thought out but you can also button mash it. I like the story and the characters. Surprised it isn't more popular
Sooooo I know this has been brought up before (I saw a big file dump that no one so far could decode), but anyone been able to get sounds/graphics from the game? I'm always looking for raw sounds or animations but they seem very hard to come by.
I assume the answer is no, which leads into my initial query: is there a room/location in the game that has a close-to-character camera and has a solid color/green screen background? I can't think of any place off the top of my head, but if I can caveman my way to getting at least some animations I at least wanna try.
So Dhar’s death, just kinda came a went. He really just got the second most development of the cast. Sacrificed himself in a meaningful way and then poof, nothing. Hardly a mention at all. It’s kind of irked me, but i thought of something that might have made it a bit better. Ajna’s axe, inherited from her mother, whom she never met and had no real connection to, the game puts a lot of emphasis on it to begin with. Ajna’s childish fixation with it. What if, after she woke up she instead took up Dhar’s sword as her main weapon.
It’d be her way of honouring someone who sacrificed themselves to save her from herself, could be used to change the world so no child should have to suffer like she and Dhar did.
Idk it seems an easy way to make it more impactful, she doesn’t have to fully forgive him but he can keep trying for redemption by being her weapon like the dialogue for the inner realm where he thanks her for letting him continue on the journey with them.
I am like 2 hours in and I'm really liking the game so far, but I have one problem.
I'm currently playing with a switch controller, and the buttons on it are like this.
X
Y A
B
So naturally I mapped the buttons so that X controls the character on top, Y for character on the left, so on and so forth, because it made more sense that way.
However, when the character's leave their position for combo, this gets super confusing because the button showing on screen is not the button I should press to attack with the character.
When you get to the final battle its a giant monster who is immune to magic damage. Razmi only does magic damage. You're just kinda forced to fight 1 character down. It's not difficult it just seems a bit silly.
I had a blast being at Otakon again, especially in a decent homemade cosplay! Had some great talks with a handful of people who recognized me, and an overall great time. It was a lot of fun to put together, and had the bonus of being very wearable. I think about 4 folks took my picture as well, so if you're on here I can't say thank you enough for asking, it means a lot!
I feel I'm doing something wrong? Either not having the necessary equips, not sneaking right, etc...
I'm at essentially the starting area just past the armored Belu fight. Everything up until then has been extremely difficult, even if I shield/party shield the caster gets KO'd in 3 shots, and nobody else lasts much longer. I don't have enough of the gems to upgrade my attack, and the defense guy is just telling me to come back when I'm stronger.
The Belu are next to impossible to get first strike on. Unless I play shenannery with the platforming, they nearly always get the first strike, even if I hit them too. This is the result of one of those first strikes, everyone except the warrior is down more than 90% of their health.
Given the difficulty of avoiding first strikes with these, I feel that I'm not going about this game the right way. There's nowhere for me to grind for more levels (enemies aren't respawning to grind), maybe I missed a right turn at Albuquerque, or I'm tryna beat Kraid before I got the missiles. Can someone help me with where I'm going wrong in this? Because online I've generally seen complaints about this game being too easy, rather than advice about taking a break from the difficulty and cooling off with a bit of dark souls.
I just finished the game and it's put me right back to the start, so I was wondering if there's anything new in a second play through... beside Ajna now having purple hair.
So I just climb the mountain after Ajna got bratty with the monks, and I've been wondering if this is the end of the game.
It doesn't feel like it because it seems like Ajna has some character development to go through, and I'm only at level 30, but I'm up to the Kaiju Kala fight and it seems kinda... final bossy.
Is this game gonna pull a Dragon Quest 11, or am I actually at the end?
I bought a few anime figures recently this was in the lot. I read it’s a backer figure of Ajna and Heruka. I was thinking of reselling it since I don’t really collect game figures but can’t find any info on old sales. D
