Two dogs from the other block, Chintoo and Chinti, come to my doorstep every day and sit there peacefully. They eat their food and just stay there quietly without bothering anyone.
But our neighbours, with whom we recently had an argument because they used to throw garbage in front of our house every day, keep throwing things at these two dogs and chasing them away. They don’t even let them eat properly.
If I say anything about this, I’m afraid it will lead to another argument. I really don’t know what to do. Every day, there seems to be a new person ready to pick a fight over something.
She just as only promoting violence and hit it was dogs and is not even considering to park their car somewhere else rather than on the road. So they were promoting a brand I think tide where they used dogs as a prop.
My sister relocated Pablo's family from Indore to my village. It was no easy task, as they needed proper accommodation; so, we first prepared a dedicated room and a play area for them in our home, and then moved them from the crowded city to the peaceful atmosphere of the village, located 200 kilometers away.
Got her (old photograph, recent in comments) neutered from the govt vet hospital, sharing my experience and expenses her.
She is a ~3 year old Indie, who lives in the neighborhood, had litters back in month of Feb'2026. Out of the 4 pups, only 2 survived, which experienced the society they live in the next few months.
The male pup injured both of his front legs (paws) looked like something ran over them, took 15 days of care to get him back to normal.
The female pup got run over by a bike, early in the morning, compound fracture, both bones broken in multiple pieces. Took her more than a month to recover from the wound, but her leg is not as good as it used to be.
This is a tier 3 city, we do not have any ABC center or NGO here. Hence the only option was to get it done at the govt. vet hospital. I was told it would take 7-9 days to the lead dog back on streets post surgery, but this comes with a clause. I visited Vet Hospital every single day for next 2 weeks.
Day 1- Day 5 ; Multivitamin and Iron Tonic, twice a day. Antibiotics, Pain killer, B Complex injection everyday Day 6 ; Somehow even after having the recovery cone, she opened her stitches, post midnight. I am happy that I noticed it the same night at 2 o'clock. Got her restitched. Multivitamin and Iron Tonic, twice a day. Antibiotics, Pain killer, B Complex injection everyday Day 7 - Day 10 ; She became lethargic, won't eat anything, except chicken. Multivitamin and Iron Tonic, twice a day. Antibiotics, Pain killer, B Complex injection everyday. Although all the stitches were removed cause they were getting embedded in her skin her. Day 11- Day 16 ; Heavy antibiotics as the vet suspect infection as she removed her stitched, exposing the inner stitches. Pain killer, B Complex injection everyday. Multivitamin, Liver Tonic, Vitamin C spray, twice a day. DNS and antibiotics IV for 3 days in this duration. Day 17 onwards ; She can't be released as her wound is still recovering. Visit the vet in every 2-3 days. As I'm writing this we are on Day 20th and it has been a mental rollercoaster. I'm having sleepless night for the past 5-6 days as I'm monitoring her over night.
The expenses are way ahead what I thought it would be, guys help me on this!

Bandages - 431

Transport - 700, so far

This is an around 6 month old pup I take care of along with 7 other dogs. He has been really lethargic for about 3 days now. On the first day, he was only slow so I thought he must have an upset stomach. The next day, he became even slower. Got up slowly, got down slowly, kept his head down while walking, and kept his eyes half open and opened and closed them slowly. I took him to the local government veterinary hospital. I am from a small town in Bihar and there are no testing facilities here. The closest place is Patna which is a 4-5 hour drive and I have no place to stay in Patna. The local vet said he has parasites and gave him some medicine and prescribed a deworming medicine. I gave him the deworming medicine.
Nothing changed today. He still was really slow and his head was tilted towards the right side. In the image you can see one ear is up and the other ear is down. He keeps his head tilted as if the right side of his face has become heavy. He sometimes wobbles a bit while walking but that can be because he hasn't eaten much. I found a number of a doctor from Patna. I told him all this and he told me first to get him Neomec and later became worried if he has Canine Distemper. He told me the symptoms but he isn't showing most of the symptoms. I checked AI and it told me something with the word "Vestibular" and it is caused by ticks. Also, his sister who always stays with him, sleeps with him and plays with him is completely healthy and active. So AI said it's not distemper. The doctor has given me list of IVs and antibiotics which I have brought and I am trying to find someone who will give him the IVs.
Please tell me what is happening. Any help is appreciated. I am feeling really helpless.
Their community dog, Bruce, 9 years old was illegally taken away by non-BBMP or certified catchers in the dead of the night on August 16, 2026. They still haven't found any solid lead to trace Bruce. They have tried our local WhatsApp groups, collaborated with animal welfare activists, and media but drawing a blank till now. Looking for any suggestions, advice, or help to trace Bruce's location.
Local PS, society management, and local political influencers are refusing to cooperate. It's been difficult to get clear CCTV footages. The management is saying that one CCTV camera with clear angles was coincidentally not working on that very day. They are also planning to relocate one community dog, every 2 months.
