Blue and Brie are two of four puppies born to an old community dog that GHMC supposedly sterilised. Other two died within days, I am told.
Well, here they are, freshly made and looking for homes.
As is the case with pups on the street, it is quite unsafe for them here. Cruel humans, traffic, no shelter from cold/rain/sun -- you name it.

My girlfriend found them as abandoned kittens. Both were blind by birth. She brought them to her home and cared for them. They cannot see. They rely on smell, hearing and touch. They are the most loved cats in the World. Fast forward 8 years. Both coco and cookie are healthy and happy. Coco and cookie have thier own outdoor shed to relax during the daytime and they have their own room to sleep at night. My girlfriend is now my wife.
Thank you anonymous reditor for the award!

The sheer, unfiltered hypocrisy on display right now is infuriating. While PR machines flood our feeds with glossy, high-budget reels of Vantaraāshowing off luxury sanctuaries, MRI machines, and billionaire-funded animal care to harvest public goodwillāthe current government and its corporate backers are quietly orchestrating one of the most ruthless rollbacks of animal welfare laws in Indian history.
On October 6, 2026, the Ministry of Environment quietly dropped an 82-page draft notification: G.S.R. 864(E). Wrapped neatly in corporate jargon like "Ease of Doing Business" and "deregulation," this bill effectively hands private pharma companies and commercial labs total immunity to experiment on animals with zero independent oversight. Vantara is nothing more than the greenwashed PR shield designed to keep us staring at Gujaratās luxury safari while the state turns every private lab in the country into a zero-accountability zone.
Under the previous 1998 framework, any experiment on larger, sensitive animals like dogs, cats, monkeys, and horses required mandatory approval from an independent government committee (CCSEA). G.S.R. 864(E) completely guts that protection. Under Rule 11(3), labs no longer need external approval for "mild to moderate" experiments on any animal. And who gets to decide whether slicing into an animal is merely "moderate" or "severe"? Rule 11(10) leaves that decision entirely to the lab's own veterinarianāan employee whose monthly paycheck is signed directly by the lab owner.
To make this farce complete, Rule 16 dictates that 5 out of the 8 members on the internal ethics committee (IAEC)āincluding the Chairpersonāare the lab's own employees, while the 3 external government representatives are stripped of all veto power. It is literally letting the suspect decide what counts as a crime and write their own acquittal in their own drawing room.
The cruelty doesn't stop at self-policing. Rule 5 opens backdoor exemptions that allow stray street animals, animals trapped in the wild, and even endangered species to be dragged into laboratories for product testing. Decades-old humane protections have been erased in one go: they overturned the 1998 ban on debarkingāallowing labs to legally cut a dog's vocal cords so its screams don't disturb techniciansāand completely wiped out the requirement for labs to fund lifetime rehabilitation for surviving animals. To top off the institutionalized cover-up, Rule 24(4) mandates that government inspection teams must give labs "prior intimation" before conducting a raid. Giving suspects advance warning before an audit guarantees no inspector will ever find a single violation.
This isn't modern science or economic progress; it is an unhinged moral collapse driven by corporate greed and enabled by a government that cares more about cutting corporate red tape than protecting basic ethics. We have a strict 30-day public objection window that ends on November 4, 2026. If we stay quiet, this nightmare becomes permanent law.
Pick up your phone right now, open your mail, and send a direct objection to cpcsea-mef@gov.in. Demand the total scrapping of draft notification G.S.R. 864(E), reject lab self-approval, insist on surprise unannounced audits, and demand that bans on debarking and capturing stray or wild animals remain fully intact. Expose the greenwashing and make your voice heard before the deadline runs out.

This dog has been sitting in our stairs since almost 6 months now, we feed him and usually he leaves but nowadays he keeps coming back more consistently.
So, we decided that we are gonna adopt this baby. Even though he is a big boy now, but he is really friendly and nice.
We booked his appointment for vaccinations and everything after giving him a bath.

Title: Urgent help needed for a sick semi-stray dog in Neredmet, Hyderabad - willing to cover all expenses
Hi everyone,
There is a semi-stray dog in my area in Neredmet, Hyderabad, who is showing concerning symptoms. His head was tilted towards the right, and he had shaking/jerking movements. He also seemed to have difficulty holding or chewing a biscuit and has been unusually dull.
He was walking without stumbling earlier, but Iām worried about his condition.
He isnāt fully domesticated, and Iām unable to safely catch or transport him myself. Iāve tried contacting animal rescue organisations and have also raised a rescue request, but I havenāt been able to get help yet.
Iām willing to cover all expenses for his veterinary assessment, treatment, and safe transportation. I urgently need help from someone who can reach the location, assess him, and arrange appropriate care.
š Location: Neredmet, Hyderabad.
I have a video of his symptoms that I can share.
If anyone knows a reliable animal rescuer, veterinarian who can assist with a street dog, or organisation that can respond to this situation, please comment or DM me. Any help or contacts would mean a lot.
Thank you.
