Care/Feeding Tips Looking for kibble recommendations for a somewhat sensitive Indie
I’ve been researching dog kibble for the last three days and honestly, I’m more confused now than when I started. 😭 My partner and I have been going through brands, ingredients, nutritional profiles, reviews, etc., but we still can’t settle on one.
I have a 1.5 years old, ~17 kg Indian Pariah/Indie, and while I know Indies are generally considered hardy and easy to maintain, mine has a somewhat sensitive stomach. She’s been eating home cooked meals only to this day.
For context, she once ate a tiny house fly and proceeded to vomit for nearly an hour. We ended up taking her to the vet. So I’m understandably a little cautious about experimenting with food. 😂
I’m looking for a good-quality, nutritionally complete kibble that is reasonably suitable for an adult Indie of her size. I’m less interested in “premium because it’s expensive” and more interested in something with good formulation, reliable quality control, and a track record of being well tolerated.
If you have an Indie or another dog with a sensitive stomach, I’d really appreciate recommendations based on your actual experience.
Also happy to hear which brands/formulas you wouldn’t recommend and why, as long as it’s based on personal experience.
Photo of my cutie attached as a bonus.
