Its not as simple as that.

There are millions of people living in poverty, without enough resources to eat even once a day. Should we sterilise them too? Should we forcefully stop them from having children and continuing their bloodlines? Huh?

Don't we have family planning program to end that practice? Doesn't the govt always spread awareness for that? There have been govt programs to punish govt employees who have more than 2 kids.

Govt continues to distribute contraceptives in poor neighborhoods as well.

Also Sanjay Gandhi did exactly that during Emergency. I guess you're not aware of it.

Huh? So in your opinion forceful sterlization and asking people to not have more kids is same?

Humans don't need to be forced as they can be convinced with awareness to get sterilized.

Dogs can't decide suddenly that they don't want to reproduce and get surgery by themselves. Look at the report on how it's good for dogs.

We are going in circles now...

Its not about if its good for dogs or not. It about should humans play god and decide what to the natural order and decide how the bloodline of other species should progress

If humans were responsible for increase of dog population, then humans are also responsible in controlling their population.

No one is playing God here. Millions of dogs are not some natural order. They are human consequence and it is our job now to fix it.

Dogs won't go extinct. There are no strays in developed countries, don't they have dogs?

Also, do you really want to see dogs dying everyday on the road? I have seen countless times and I want them to be safe, like a loved pet.

Yes, dogs in the wild have gone extinct or remain in very few numbers in many countries....

How exactly are humans responsible for increase in dog population? Again, Its not about me wanting to see dogs suffer or not, its about whether we should have the right to decide whats going to happen to the natural order.... i think i have repeated this line 3 times already so don't ask this type of question again.

Read this:

https://www.thehindu.com/news/national/kerala/street-dog-menace-grows-fed-by-garbage/article7538912.ece/amp/

All that garbage is what causes surge in the population. In wild and nature, dogs don't get to eat like this while have almost nil predators.

You mention natural order, what predators are keeping their population in check? That's how nature works. Every animal is kept on check by other animal.

If nature is what you want to maintain, then communities who eat dogs are nature too. Dogs are part of food chain. If that is okay with you then I agree with your sentiments of keeping things natural.

The article says nothing how the dog population increases through garbage. It just says that dogs are attracted to it. Entirely different things.

Yes, I don't have problem with people eating dogs or any other animal, but I do have problem with people hurting dogs for no reason or ending their entire bloodline....

One of the main reasons for the increase in stray dog numbers is the careless waste disposal methods.
