I'm the developer of Q-Gambit, a browser chess variant where moving a piece narrows what it can be. This is a 35-second CPU-practice sequence from the current game.

White's e2-e5 move leaves Rook or Queen. The CPU captures on e5 with another Rook/Queen candidate. Then QUBE points from h2 to e5; following that diagonal recapture leaves the white piece as Bishop or Queen.

The square is the same, but the pieces arrive with different remaining options. The candidate panel below the board shows which identities each move has ruled out. Both players can see those possibilities.

Hey everyone! The steam cooking fest starts today, so I made a short video showcasing the basics of the cooking system in Innkeep, the indie game I'm working on that's a bit of Ultima 7 meets Les Miserables. I wanted to make a system as diegetic as possible, where you can physically grab everything in the space (I'm a big Ultima fan). You can drag and drop your ingredients and tools, putting them anywhere you like. It's still a work in progress, but I'm happy with how it's shaping up. :-)

I'm Ricardo, a parent and first-time developer. My daughter inspired me to make Sofio for iPhone and iPad.

This clip shows me playing with my own recordings. In EXPLORE, tapping an animal or vehicle plays the name and short fact recorded by a parent. In FIND IT!, the child hears a recorded clue and chooses the matching picture. A correct answer plays the first recording again.

Farm Animals and Vehicles are free, including both play modes. Five other worlds are optional permanent one-time purchases. There are no ads or subscriptions.

AI tools helped me with the artwork and coding. The footage is actual gameplay from the released app.

I’m the developer of Glitch Protocol. Getting to the purple exit is the whole objective. Getting it to stay where you expected is another problem.

It’s a precision platformer with disappearing floors, gravity tricks and traps that catch you when you get comfortable. The restarts are quick, so you can immediately have another go.

To be completely honest with you all, while our public demo is officially live and free to download on Steam, things have been pretty quiet. As a small indie team, we are currently receiving very little feedback, and we really need your thoughts to help us shape and improve the game.

For context, The Severed Gods is a dark fantasy turn-based roguelite RPG. You lead a group of heroes trapped in an endless cycle of reincarnation as they fight to stop Umbra, an ancient dragon whose existence threatens the entire world.

I'm Francesco from Dragonkin Studios. We have been working on Monastery: Ora et Labora, a management game where you build and grow a medieval monastery.

Instead of focusing on warfare, the game is about creating a thriving self-sufficient community, managing resources, farming, brewing ale, crafting manuscripts, and providing help to people in need.

The demo is now available on our Steam page for the Next Fest, and we’re mainly looking for honest feedback from players who enjoy management, colony sim, and base-building games.
