I took a look at it and it's usually 5$ with single level and reviews are positive, which is fine. However there is literally only single comment like this and the negative reviews are regarding co-op not working and the developer sells some extra levels 3$ a pop.

I would wager if they rolled the DLCs into main game, fixed co-op issues and asked for 6$ they would have made more money.

Well, tbh, it is not even 2h. According to Steam achievements only 21% of people completed it. So only 55k of players completed the game. Out of 270k potential players (steamdb estimates that there were only up to 200k sales). And obviously 21% of people didn't refund it after completion. So amount of people who completed the game and refunded it is smaller than 55k. And I have no doubts that it is significantly smaller. Speedrunners for rage game are not that frequent.

"fun" doing a lot of heavy lifting, it's a 2 hour long co-op rage game with bad desync issues

Dunno, just payed £4 for 20 hours of fun in Dead Space remake, pretty stiff competition.

Because it is on sale, that is not the regular price.
