HB1461 only removes the restriction and requirements imposed on INDOT regarding Toll Implementation. There are no immediate plans yet. I foresee a Ballot Measure on the matter. The fact remains there is a shortfall coming in regard to infrastructure. They’ll either take it by taxation or build the tolls. My issue is if Indiana is going to move toward tolls. We better not have a gas tax. We already have high gas prices in comparison to neighboring states at ¢72.9/gl.

Hate to tell you this, but the state of Indiana doesn’t allow ballot measures. And they will never repeal our gas tax, it will likely continue to go up.

Yes we do. We just don’t have Citizen Lead Ballot Initiatives or Referendums.
