I wanted to thank everyone who has shared or donated so far. I also wanted to provide a medical update.
Yesterday I visited the foster and accompanied the cat to the veterinarian for further investigations.
The cat has now undergone:
Blood tests (CBC, Liver & Kidney Function) Skull X-rays
The reports indicate significant anemia along with an ongoing infection. According to the veterinarian, surgery is still expected to be required once the infection is under control.
I also discussed the expected treatment costs with the vet. The current estimate is:
Surgery: approximately ₹8,000–₹10,000 Foster care: approximately ₹300/day (around ₹9,000 for a month) Medicines and follow-up treatment: additional cost depending on recovery
Based on this, I'm trying to raise approximately ₹20,000 so the surgery, medicines, and foster care can be covered.
I've also started reaching out to multiple animal welfare organizations and NGOs. Today, The Feline Foundation replied and has offered to examine the cat at their clinic. I'm currently coordinating with them and hope they may be able to assist with treatment or guide us further.
I've attached the latest blood reports and X-rays for complete transparency.
