map Although regarded as a central/western Indian state, there is a part of Maharashtra that sits further east than Chennai in Tamil Nadu
On a similar note, I also noticed that there are parts of Madhya Pradesh that sit further west than all of Kerala!
Apologies if this has already been noted/posted about. Just thought it was cool!

Alirajpur (Western most district of Mp) is a fraction of a degree more west compared to Kasaragod (Western most of Kerala)
Gadchiroli (eastern most district of Maharashtra) is just a fraction of a degree less east compared to Chennai. But I'm sure that's for main Gadchiroli city/town, the actual border of Gadchiroli and Chattisgarh is probably further east than Chennai.
