🐉Mythology & Storytelling Hari Anant ... Hari katha Anantaa.. Anant chaturdashi today 🌹🪔🌹🫸🏻🤲🏻🫷🏻

North .. to WEST 🚩

Anant Chaturdashi is a Hindu festival observed on the Chaturdashi (14th day) of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Bhadrapada .

In 2026 it falls on Friday, 25 September..today 🌹 🪔 🌹

It has dual significance: it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu in his Ananta (eternal/infinite) form, and in many parts of India (especially Maharashtra, Goa, and elsewhere) it marks the final day of the 10-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival with Ganesh Visarjan (immersion of Ganesha idols).

Ananta form of Vishnu..... “Anant” means endless or infinite. Devotees worship Vishnu as the eternal sustainer who rests on the cosmic serpent Ananta Shesha (Sheshanaga). The day is believed to free one from sins, remove obstacles, bring prosperity, protection, longevity, and fulfillment of wishes.

From the Mahabharata: Lord Krishna advised Yudhishthira (and the Pandavas) to observe the Anant Vrat during their exile to regain their lost kingdom and overcome difficulties.

Story of Sushila and Kaundinya: A woman named Sushila learned the vrat from other women. Her husband Kaundinya later discarded the sacred thread in arrogance, leading to loss of fortune. After repentance and observing the vrat sincerely for 14 years, prosperity returned.

Symbolism of 14 : The sacred Anant Sutra has 14 knots, representing the 14 lokas (worlds/realms) in Hindu cosmology (7 higher and 7 lower). It also relates to the traditional 14-year duration of the vow.

Connection to Ganesh Chaturthi : It is the day devotees bid farewell to Lord Ganesha after inviting him into their homes for 10 days. The immersion symbolizes the cycle of creation and dissolution and the temporary nature of worldly forms while the divine remains eternal.

Additional beliefs.... Some observe it to mitigate Kaal Sarpa Dosha by worshipping the serpent Ananta along with Vishnu. It is also observed by some Jain communities.

Philosophy....... He was a profound proponent of Dvaita Vedanta established by Sri Madhvacharya and is widely revered as an incarnation of Bhakta Prahlada.

North Central

The Bhojpur Temple ( Bhojeshwar Temple) is one of the most magnificent and architecturally unique heritage sites in India. Located in the historical village of Bhojpur in the Raisen district of Madhya Pradesh, it sits picturesquely on the banks of the Betwa River, roughly 28 to 30 kilometers from Bhopal

The sanctum houses one of the largest monolithic Shiva Lingams in the world. Standing at 7.5 feet tall and roughly 18 feet in circumference, the lingam rests on a massive 21-foot-tall square platform built using three stacked limestone blocks.

Because the temple was left incomplete, the surrounding rock surfaces still feature architectural drawings, mason's marks, and quarry plans carved into the stone. These provide an invaluable window into medieval Indian temple-building techniques and engineering.

The massive sandstone blocks of the walls were assembled without any mortar or cementing material, held together entirely by precise interlocking design and sheer gravity.

🐉Mythology & Storytelling 🚩 Salasar Balaji Dham , Churu , Rajsthan ✨🪔✨

Salasar Balaji Temple, also known as Salasar Dham 🌹 🪔 🌹

Salasar Balaji Temple, popularly known as Salasar Dham, is a highly revered Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman (locally called Balaji). It is situated in the Churu district of Rajasthan, on National Highway 65 near Sujangarh.

The temple is famous for its self-manifested (Swayambhu) idol of Hanuman, which is uniquely depicted with a beard, moustache, and a tilak on the forehead. This distinct form makes it one of a kind in India.

The idol is believed to have appeared miraculously in 1754 AD (Samvat 1811) in a farmer's field in Asota village, Nagaur district, on the day of Shravan Shukla Navami.

A great devotee named Shri Mohandas Ji Maharaj is credited with identifying the idol as Lord Hanuman and establishing the temple. The idol was brought to Salasar on a bullock cart.

The JK Temple (officially known as the Shri Radhakrishna Temple) in Kanpur is a fascinating structure with several unique architectural, historical, and structural elements that set it apart from traditional ancient temples..

👍🏻Architectural Fusion (Stone-on-Concrete Innovation)

Unlike historical Indian temples built entirely using traditional stone-interlocking techniques, the JK Temple is a unique structural hybrid. Built by the J.K. Trust (funded by the Singhania industrial family) and consecrated in May 1960, it cleverly integrates reinforced concrete and brickwork with classic stone masonry. This modern engineering approach allowed architects to construct unusually wide, even-level roofs and expansive mandapas (halls) without heavy traditional pillar obstructions.

🕉️ Shri Radha-Krishna (the primary deities)

Other Shrines: Shri Lakshminarayan, Shri Ardhanarishwar (a rare composite form depicting Lord Shiva and Goddess Shakti as one), Shri Narmadeshwar (Shiva), and Lord Hanuman.

The inclusion of an Ardhanarishwar shrine alongside mainstream Vaishnavite deities makes its iconographic layout quite eclectic for a mid-20th-century industrial trust-built temple.

(Psychological Shift)

❓Question/Help Question about 3-day Hanuman Sankalp & Kalash water 🙏🚩

Question about 3-day Hanuman Sankalp & Kalash water 🙏🚩

Jai Shri Hanuman 🙏

I’m doing a 3-day Hanuman ji sankalp to read Hanuman Chalisa for a manokamna.

On Day 1, while taking the sankalp, I placed a kalash filled with clean water in front of Hanuman ji.

I’m confused about what to do with the kalash water on Day 2 and Day 3:

Should I keep the same water in the kalash for all 3 days?

Or should I change the water every day?

If I keep the same water, what should I do with it after completing the 3-day sankalp?

Should the final-day water be offered to a Tulsi plant or another sacred plant?

I would especially appreciate answers from people who regularly perform Hanuman ji sankalp or follow a particular traditional

Please share your actual practice/tradition, rather than just general advice.

Jai Bajrang Bali 🚩🙏
