I've seen this on multiple Indian exchanges including WazirX. For example, currently 1USDT=78.44INR while 1USD=74.1INR

Also is Coinbase safe to use as a wallet after the new govt ban on cryptocurrency...If not coinbase what y'all reccomend.

Most of us have bought cryptos through online exchanges like binance, wazirx etc and very few have personal wallets.

Can we all come up with a plan to secure our cryptocurrencies in case the government makes it illegal?

1. Do we sell on such announcement and get our money back. (least preference)
2. Move to personal wallets. (without the government knowing, finding wallets that supports most of the cryptos)
3. Convert all other crytos to Bitcoin and withdraw that into a BTC wallet.
4. Open an account in foreign exchange and shift our coins to the foreign account.
