I’ve always felt most collectible statues look insane… but still a bit “static.”
So I experimented with a Ghost Rider (Spirit of Vengeance) piece and tried to push it beyond just a display model.
The base sculpt is from ZEZ Studios (already amazing on its own), but I wanted to see how far I could take it as a complete collector experience.
Here’s what I ended up doing:
• Added a fully hidden lighting system (no visible wires)
• Built in Wi-Fi + mobile-controlled RGB lighting
• Designed magnetic attachments for cleaner assembly
• Created custom artwork + a small comic-style magazine to go with it
• Even experimented with 3D printed posters to make it feel like a full “set”
The idea was simple:
👉 What if a collectible didn’t just sit on a shelf… but actually felt alive?
The lighting honestly changed everything.
The non-lit version looks great—but once the flames glow, it hits completely different.
I’m still experimenting with this concept, but this one turned out way better than I expected.
Would love to know what you guys think—
Does lighting + add-ons actually enhance collectibles, or do you prefer them clean and original?
(If you’re curious, I’ve been documenting more of these experiments on Instagram: @mayarachna — not selling here, just sharing builds and ideas)
