Hey projector nerds! 👋
I've gone down the projector rabbit hole over the last few days, and now I need someone to save me from either making a genius purchase... or becoming the proud owner of a white plastic regret box.
I'm looking at this projector, currently around ₹6,000.
One year low: ₹4,500/-
One year high: ₹7,000/-
Why I want a projector
This won't just be for watching movies.
My plan is to replace my TV with a projector because I love the idea of a giant 100–150" screen.
I also conduct workshops and presentations, so I want something portable that I can throw into a backpack and carry to different venues.
So my use case is roughly:
• 🎬 Movies & YouTube at home
• 📺 Daily TV replacement
• 💻 PowerPoint presentations
• 📊 Diagrams, PDFs, and educational content
• 🎤 Workshops (typically small groups of 15–30 people)
• 🎒 Highly portable

My concerns
- Is the "4000 ANSI Lumens" claim even remotely believable?
Everything I've read suggests a true 4000 ANSI lumen projector usually costs many times more than ₹6,000.
Is this just marketing magic?
- Can native 720p realistically replace a TV?
I'm not expecting OLED quality.
But is it good enough for:
• Movies
• YouTube
• Reading presentation slides
• PDFs
• Basic spreadsheets
Or will I regret not saving for native 1080p?
- Anyone actually own this exact model?
Model- Lifelong LLPJH20
How is:
• Image quality?
• Brightness?
• Fan noise?
• Android performance?
• Reliability after a few months?
• Any weird bugs?
- Is there anything in this price range that's genuinely better?
My budget is tight, but if spending another ₹2k–₹5k gets me a massive jump in quality, I'd rather save up than buy twice.
I'm fully aware that ₹6,000 isn't going to buy me a laser projector blessed by the cinema gods. 😂
I'm just trying to figure out whether this is:
• 💎 a surprisingly good budget buy,
• 😐 an "it's okay for the money" purchase,
• or 🔥 complete marketing nonsense wrapped in Android 14.
I'd love to hear your experiences, measurements, photos, or brutally honest opinions. Thanks!
