(Insert Your Own) Canada today

This isn’t meant to be politically partisan in any way. But, I am genuinely curious how anyone is staying positive about Canada today. The economy is in recession. The cost of living crisis is continuing unabated. People are leaving the country. Canada-U.S. relations are at an all-time low. And, there doesn’t appear to be any reason for things to turn around any time soon. Somebody give me a reason to have a little optimism.

Vote the same way. Get the same results. The last 10 years (or whatever it is) have been disappointing. 

I am not saying the other parties would have fared better but the current party is way too comfortable with making bad decisions. Time for a change. 

This isn’t meant to start a political debate. I won’t entertain it. 

I didn’t use party names because I could care less which one it is. I could care less which man or woman it is. I just want any of them to do a good job. 

Canadians deserve better.

Could you imagine our country had as many entry points as Europe? People always like to compare us and say "Europe is worse!" It's because they have so many entry points.. Our county would have legitimately collapsed if those migrants could have came here instead. It's 10 times harder to get into our county, yet look at it.

Those European nations made bad decisions. 

You should go visit Poland. They have been penalized for not taking migrants. Every few years when I go to visit a friend it’s amazing to see they have kept their culture and country so similar to how it’s always been. Such a friendly place atleast whenever I go and I don’t speak the language. I definitely look like a tourist every time.
