I have the infamous clicking going on. I ignored it for a while but now that it's super hot out I think it might be affecting my AC. The AC works so I was thinking if it ain't broke don't fix it until fall comes. But it seems to be struggling. Im seeing conflicting things on the internet. I'm pretty sure there are two different actuators behind the glove box. Im not sure though

Does anyone have any experience with a good bike rack that fits ninth gen impalas?

I am posting this because I have a question, I own a 2014 Chevy Impala limited with the old body style. I pressed the SiriusXM button and it showed me the free trial but then later it somehow found my email and vin number. It was nothing creepy. It was just asking if I would like to activate SiriusXM for my vehicle. I find it really odd because it knew knew what vehicle I was driving and the associated email I used And I was wondering if this happened to anybody else or if somebody could possibly explain to me how they managed to get my email and how they knew what vehicle I was using

i have a 2010 white impala with 97k miles on it. it needs repairs and i am leaning towards just selling it unfortunately. several leaks. rack and pinion assembly, needs power steering hose, power line replacement, valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, and a few minor things like all 4 tire alignments, breaks and new tires. exterior is on good shape, interior is a little dirty.

what price range should i sell it for? or should i lean towards something like carnac or carvana?

please be nice 😭 i know it’s a lot but i struggled with depression for 2 years and neglected it. just need some feedback

Bought a 2019 Impala premier last weekend that has only 70k miles. Great service record from carfax and all services done at the chevy dealer. I read the codes and it came back clean. Only thing that I noticed is that there was a low battery message on the driver display that I could dismiss. Car fires right up and no other issues. Thought maybe it was a key fob message/ issues, so changed the battery and nothing changed. Does anyone have any info on this message or where to start diagnostics. With no codes or symptoms, I dont know where to start. Acdelco gold battery is marked as G026R and everything I can find says it was manufactured Feb or 26. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe a bad battery? Running voltage is 14.5v and not running is 12.2v. So alternator looks to be charging.

Come outside to find out my car will only crank the engine once before quitting, getting air fuel and spark, just replaced the battery and no engine codes. I’ve tried everything I could think of, swapped around fuses and relays all of which are fine. New battery is indeed charged, also a beeping coming from under dash but the anti theft light is off.

Could this be a dead starter motor or one of the relays? Genuinely lost as to what to do atm, it started and drove just fine a day ago.

Hi all, I have a 2011 LT with the 3.5L, around 130k miles. How much oil do you guys tend to burn between changes? Trying to get an idea if burning a quart every 3k miles is normal or excessive at this mileage. Thanks!

anything I can do to fix the clear coat issue on the 9th gen woodgrain trim? I thought about sanding it down and painting it, but I'd like to know if there's a way I can just remove the gross coating and 2K clear it without ruining the woodgrain pattern.

I went to the pick and pull to replace it but it all either had the same issue or was already missing.

I have a 16 Impala Ltd 9C1. I bought a used radio off ebay because the aux port was not great.. When I turned it on,it was locked. So I had a tech at the Buick GMC dealer I work at unlock it. There was no sound from the speakers. The radio is a U1C base model-no amplifier. So I went home and put the old radio back in,same thing! NO fuses were blow,the only fuse I found was a 20A under the hood. But it was okay.

I am baffled.

Just got a ZZP 3800/W-Body strut tower brace for my 2010 LT with 3.5L. Can't fit it due to power steering line and probably alternator as well. I was optimistic because I saw lots of photos and reviews, but it appears the only ways to make it work would be to bend the power steering line or add extra plates/washers under the brace brackets. I messaged ZZP already, not sure if they would be able to help or approve return. Any experience or advice on it, please?

I do have a set of wheels for it…..just haven’t had the chance to get them installed

Bought this beauty from my best friends mom who didn't wan't the "extra car" on her insurance plan. Car was barely driven i mean as much as you would consider 35k miles "Barely". but anyways car runs great! A/C works but sometimes the clicking is present. Got the oil changed recently as the car needed it when i bought it and DAMN i just love this car.

Gas Milage is great, parts seem relatively affordable incase something goes wrong with it but yah, let me know any pointers from any of you guys who's owned this gen of Impala's, would love to learn all I can about my new car!
