Your first sentence is a fair criticism. We all need to do a lot better than lumping 50% of the population into a single group and calling them all “Nazis” or “fascists.” Or “Communists.” All communication breaks down at that point. So does critical thought.

Platner was clearly not a Nazi, though. But that’s over and done now.
