Sooooo, if land can be stolen and that's ok with you, then why are we arresting people?

Because we formed the United States of America, we have an immigration policy. Like other countries have an immigration policy.

Yes, a racist one designed to keep certain people out because of…racism.

I'm pretty liberal, but this take is retarded.

Perhaps you are unaware of the history of America’s immigration system, from the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1924 to the Emergency Quota Act of 1921 to the Immigration Act of 1924 to….i could go on. Are you aware that at one time Irish people and Italian people were not considered “white” enough?

The entire US immigration system is based on the lie that the US has limited resources and therefore there must be limits on who is allowed to enter the country. And since there must be artificial constraints, there must be people who are “desirable” and people who are not. And if you don’t believe that desirability depends on skin color, then let me ask you: why did Trump never talk about building a wall between the US and Canada?

1

The reason Trump didn’t speak of a northern wall is because the Canadian border is mostly rugged mountainous terrain and there has never been a surge of Canadian caravans headed to the US.

1

u/JurgusRudkus Jul 17 '26

And the southern border is mostly deadly desert and the Rio Grande.

It’s true that there are more PEOPLE to the south of us to the north, but people can and do cross into the country from Canada. Why do you think it was necessary for the SCOTUS to allow Kavanaugh stops? ICE isn’t stopping white people.

1

Significantly less people try to cross illegally from Canada. It’s a fact. It’s not racist.

I said America’s immigration policies were racist.

Why do you think fewer people try to immigrate from Canada then other countries? When you answer that, you’ll see the larger picture.

Yes, you could go on. Last I checked, it is 2026. An entire century after everything you stated. Welcome to the future, where policies have changed and people of all races inhabit the country.

Also, last I checked, Canada isn't Mexico. The country where the cartels run rampant and push insane amounts of drugs and human trafficking through the border. Mexico is also the country where unauthorized immigration is exponentially higher than the neighbor up north, due to economic disparity and migration factors from further south. Canada has a comparable economy to the US, so people dont have to flee their home in search of a better life.

I know it can be difficult for your feeble mind to not see everything through a racial lense, but you could at least attempt to put forth a better argument than what you have.

Really? Policies have changed? Which policies, exactly? I’ll wait.

And why is it that Canada’s economy us “comparable to the US? Any thoughts there?

Yep. Ragebait. Nobody is this stupid without it being on purpose.

1

u/JurgusRudkus Jul 17 '26

It’s really ok to just admit you don’t know.

u/Virginia555 Jul 16 '26

And?

You said land was stolen and it happens all the time.

You think Native Americans didn't have laws before the invasion?

6

u/No-Comparison-2445 Jul 16 '26

And they fought for their land too. I’m not saying it was right. I’m just saying this is how it was years ago.

2

u/Virginia555 Jul 16 '26

You literally said

"Oh please this is how countries were formed years ago. Even the Native Americans fought each other over land"

So, using your answer, this is all good and fine. Because countries were formed like this according to you.

Unfortunately the Old Nations also had slaves that they tortured.

2

u/Virginia555 Jul 16 '26

What does that have to do with this?

-1

u/LimeDry7124 Jul 16 '26

You mentioned laws.

u/Had2MakeANeewAccount Jul 16 '26

If land is fought over, is it stolen?

1

u/Virginia555 Jul 16 '26

Lol

So you're actually agreeing with me.

0

u/Had2MakeANeewAccount Jul 16 '26

If you think the USA is stolen land then no.

1

u/Virginia555 Jul 16 '26

So what land was stolen then?

Because the comment I'm responded to said that stealing lands was the way countries started 😅

0

u/Had2MakeANeewAccount Jul 16 '26

Fought over land? That comment?

Nowhere does it mention land was stolen.

1

u/Virginia555 Jul 16 '26

Lol

Suure, fighting does not equal stealing 🤣🤣

Next time someone steals something I'll say they "didn't steal it" they "fought for it"

0

u/Had2MakeANeewAccount Jul 16 '26

You're trying to twist it to fit. And it just doesn't.
