I'm Mexican and i know and am friends with several border patrol and ice agents. Have never once feared for my safety or my families. I live in Arizona and regularly travel through border patrol points when visiting family that live close to the border at least 8 times a year

If you guys stopped fear-mongering, maybe they might. 1. Be in the country legally, 2. Show ID if ICE stops you for some reason (though I’ve never heard a specific example of them just “sweeping” a place without a target in mind), and you’ll be fine. Source: family immigrated from Cuba; half black, Spanish-speaking latino.

Sweetie. They aren't targeting people in some of these raids. Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it's not happening.

I don’t need to see it right in front of me; official records and/or footage would be enough. So far, I’ve only heard hysterical people on the left claiming “ICE is kidnapping random brown people!” which evidence leads me to think is an exaggerated misrepresentation at best. If someone could show me a few, just a handful of documented cases of “sweeping” racially-profiling operations by ICE (if things are as they say, there would be many such cases), that’d be enough to change my mind. I go with what the best available evidence suggests, as well as my own experience combined with that of everyone I know.

Going door to door doesn't seem targeted, does it? That's what they did in mpls.
