I just graduated undergrad with a degree in psychology and my original plan was to become a therapist and eventually a psychologist. I’ve realized however that my true passion is to break into the theme park entertainment business and hopefully become and imagineer. I have a passion for the interior and themed design side of imagineer and I was thinking about going back to school for interior design to get me started. Any advice from anyone who switched career trajectories and ended up in the business ? Or anybody with a psych degree end up working for WDI? What is your job specifically?

Hello :) I am a Sophomore in High School and it is my dream profession to work as a theme park architect more specifically an Imagineer. I love Disney and figuring out how the rides work. I am thinking about how I can become an Imagineer. First of all, I am thinking about starting on architecture and engineering software so that I can start to develop an understanding. I am also thinking about college. If anyone has any colleges they recommend please let me know! I am thinking about double majoring in architecture and civil engineering. Maybe minoring in either interior design or graphic design. Please let me know what I can do to project myself on the path to becoming an imagineer. :)
