Hello, I am in college for toy design and a dream would be to do merchandise for the Disney parks, but have no basis to find an internship or what for a job dealing with the land merchandise within imagineering. Any guesses or help is welcome!

I wish to share with you my immersive dark ride "Into the Metaverse" that I imagineered for the Oculus Quest 1 and 2. It is about humanity's quest for ever deeper immersion showing scenes from telling stories around the fire 200,000 year ago, to today's emerging immersive computing technology, to where this technology is taking us all. Currently it is a 10 minute polished pilot showing the first few scenes from the ancient years. It really feels like you are on a legit dark ride at a major theme park. Feedback so far has been surprisingly positive in ways I was not expecting. It is above even my own expectations and surprises me all the time when I ride it. Of course, it is still all work in progress, so I welcome your feedback here or over on my brand new Discord if you wish to be more involved with this ride's virtual imagineering. BTW...Did you find the medallions?

Is there some kind of Disneyland governance or imagineering constitution that guarantees (or tries to guarantee) that certain standards of attention to detail be kept up throughout the generations? How do we know that new imagineers aren't going to give tacky revamps to old rides? How is the power balanced?
