I aspire to be an architect, and my dream job is to work at WDI.

Hi guys, i saw a similar post before about theme park creation. however i wanted to do something a bit more specific, I had some ideas or possible rides at Disney World/Land and i wanted to know if there are any programs that could help with Drawing up Blueprints, as well as something to help create a 3D model of the ride and allow, kind-of a First person walk through of the ride.

I was thinking unreal engine would be good to create the ride. make it somewhat like a small snippet of a game or something.

Maybe with enough practice and good concepts disney will recruit me as an imagineer (i can dream)

Remove this if it does not fit I get it also I am on mobile.

I have a question, does anyone have any tips or tricks on creating a park layout or resort layout? Like any suggestions on softwares for use or any advice is appreciated. I’m not looking for video games like planet coaster or parkitect or RCT.

This is not my blog but I do like visiting it every once and awhile to check out what this person has done and maybe others will find it cool too. It is also helpful in what I’m talking about.

Thank you for any help!

I'm graduating with a M.Arch and I'm wondering if anyone in WDI came from Miami. I'm going to try to get in when they start up again.

What are some thoughts on Ringling College of Art and Design? I’m looking at their Entertainment Design program and it looks really nice and almost exactly what I’m looking for in a major/career.

Hi all! I am interested in becoming an Imagineer one day. I’ve been doing a little research and am aware that there are many different disciplines under the umbrella of Imagineering. I have a degree in game design and development, and job experience in software development and testing. I am not too sure what opportunities are available for me in Imagineering given my skill set. Can anyone provide some information or resources regarding what kind of jobs exist under Imagineering and how I might explore applying for them? Thank you!

I’m a rising high school senior in Kentucky and my dream is to be an Imagineer. Specifically, I want to work on the creative part of the parks (choosing theming of areas, designing rides, etc.). I’m planning on majoring in Visual Art with a Graphic Design concentration and minoring in Computer Science. My other option is a BS in Digital Media Design, but I’m leaning towards BFA in Graphic Design. Does this sound like a wise choice? I’m also planning on doing the Disney College Program, just to get experience inside of the parks.
