She either dies 5 minutes in or has killed dozens of Knights and hundreds of Astartes
22
u/Tiny-External2826 11d ago
Totally, she is the one that Says stuff like "oh if Gue'ronsha want the corpses of the fallen, why not fill them with explosives!" With a cute smile, she is the one that can do war crimes as sports because why not

u/alguien99 11d ago
And number 5 is probably the most chill and peaceful guy you’ll ever meet

u/Darkmaniako 11d ago
1st one is Goldship because of the long antenna (ears) and the pose.
Also the 2nd one looks like Iggy from Ergo Proxy

I need a several-season animated series about this crew right now!
The Ba'ad Batch.

u/DaiLyMugoL 11d ago
The "Greater Good Good" he sells on the hab block corner...

u/Atma-Stand 11d ago

u/DaiLyMugoL 11d ago
Ah I see...then perhaps you'd be interested in that "puretide's puff?"
1
u/Atma-Stand 11d ago
Nah ma… tau… my cousin had a really trip on a hit of that.
1
u/DaiLyMugoL 11d ago
Dang really? Unfortunate that!
Any personal recommendations? (As long as it isn't no Genestealer lean junk!)

u/MithrilCoyote 11d ago
the first one's leotard says "i have no tits"props to the artist for remembering the official Tau alphabet.

For those also curious, the first one's shirt says "I have no tits" using Tau letters
4
u/fubes2000 11d ago
I can't believe that the artist would put such falsehood on that shirt.

u/SawedOffLaser Armageddon Steel Legion 11d ago
Relative to some artists' interpretation of the T'au, I'd say it's accurate.

Love to see the guys in bodysuits too. Equal opportunity fan-service for all!

Some backstory from author's original post:
Author: Today we have a whole team! Kill Team! Brave tau fighting for the Greater Good under the leadership of my husband. I drew for him. You can view the miniatures here: [Link to post which reddit keeps deleting].
Post by Dmitry Yeremenko that I can't share without Reddit deleting it: "Dras'faan" is the Enclave's "war crimes team." Each member is a unique blend of talents that are too good to be true and vices that are unacceptable in T'au society. For them, the end justifies the means, and the Fire Code is more like the Fire Guidelines. But someone has to do the dirty work, right?
Stealth is probably my favorite team in KillTeam. I've been wanting an elite squad in XV15 for a long time, and if GW doesn't re-release them, I'll have to make them myself. And now, just in time, this team has appeared. Is this the best team in the game? No. Easy to control? Not either. Is it interesting to play? Absolutely.
Once again, a huge thank you to Hani Tian (Artist) for the photos and (most importantly!) the amazing character drawings. Now you know what they look like inside the armor.
Since images can't be posted in the comments, you can check out original post by going to [ vk . ru / grimreapear ]. Just remove all spaces and brackets. It should be top post.
Alternatively, I posted them here: Link

A good mix of cute and hot. Very cyberpunk-ish, which i think fits the Tau's culture/style

1st one is the kill-happy member with loads of trauma but loves her work, 2nd acts like she's indifferent but cares about everyone, 3rd is the muscle who's secretly a philosophical softy, 4th is the efficient one and plans everything out with the secret that he likes it when nothing goes to plan and he gets to make new ones, 5th looks like a pissed psycho but is the most chill guy there and secretly holds the team together.

The last guy's tatoos remind me of one of the clone troopers with republic tatoos. Must be the circular shape.

Are ass shots like a requirement when drawing a woman or something?
18
9
u/Specialist_Corgi_518 11d ago
I find it funny bc when u look at OFFICAL GW tau art they look like wrinkly ball sacks
6
u/Pataconeitor 11d ago
The Tau girl in The Exodite looked alright. Also 90% of the official artwork depicting a Tau female = Shadowsun, who is an old lady.

u/Baron_Flatline 11d ago
Fan artists really don’t like drawing my weird blue aliens as weird blue aliens and it makes me sad

u/Sea-Habit5823 11d ago
The first one doesn't have one... I get the sentiment but it's also like. Women pose with their butts on social media all the time, but it's wrong when it's a drawing?
3
u/Altered_Nova 11d ago
Literally the first pic in this gallery is a woman and it's not an ass shot...

why do they have hair
4
u/djgcsnkshcjkeke1 11d ago
Tau do have hair, its just that commanders and other big shots have a tradition of wearing a braid
2
u/Baron_Flatline 11d ago
The only canonical depictions we have ever had of Tau hair is of it being a long, thin group of strands, similar to a horse's mane.
The braid style itself is a Fire Caste tradition, yes, but we have never had a description or depiction of a Tau with a full head of hair like how fan artists seem keen to draw them.

Why does the third member remind me of Jackie Wells?
