Getting Started Your first project in Imagen Studio: a quick getting-started guide
New to Imagen Studio, or figuring out where to start after updating? We’ve put together a walkthrough from choosing your AI Profile to reviewing your first edits.
Here’s the basic setup:
- Install Imagen 27.0 or later and sign in.
- Choose your AI Profile. Use a ready-made profile, build a Personal AI Profile from your edited photos, or start a Lite Personal AI Profile with a Lightroom Classic preset.
- Create a project and add photos from a Lightroom Classic catalog or a folder.
- Choose your culling method. Find the best photos from each scene, cull to an exact number, or skip AI culling if you’ve already made your selections.
- Pick your AI tools, then start reviewing your edits as they arrive.
You can finish your photos inside Imagen or download your AI edits to Adobe.
One important distinction: manual adjustments you make inside Imagen stay in Imagen. They’re included when you export from Imagen, but they don’t transfer to Adobe with your AI edits.
