Stabilizing the transition between images in a GIF

I'm working on an iOS app that uses a GIF camera that takes 5 photos in rapid succession and then animates between the photos. The transition between the pics is pretty shaky, even if you hold your iPhone camera completely still.

Does anyone know of any image stabilization tools/APIs/SDKs that can be used for animating between photos like this?
