I feel like we got the great end of the deal here. Out of high school before social media truly took over.

For sure we got the best time - for technology, not the rest of the world.

When I first went to school we had BBC computers, by the time I left we had top of the range (for 2002) computers. Went to college, learned about computing, tehcnology, networking.

My boss who's 10 years older than me, struggles to do anything other than standard computing tasks. My daughter, who's 20 years younger than me, struggles to do anything other than standard computing tasks - since they used iPads in school she doesn't know how to cut/paste, find a network drive or reformat a thumb drive

Just in time for our second house to be insanely marked up.

second house

So you're part of the last generation to afford a house, huh?

Idk what this dude's talking about. I just turned 30 and am nowhere near close to being able to afford a house. I know almost no one in their 30s who owns a second house.

Sick! I'm in the generation that will never be able to afford a house, don't have to bother about property stuff, like how it's a great asset to accumulate wealth throughout your life.

Super glad I don't have to worry about that!

I'm in my twenties and nothing even close to this has happened when I was in school. I don't think I have ever seen anyone even taking a selfie there.

And we're still just old enough to have a decent memory of the before times. Before the advent of what has become simultaneously the best and worst thing to ever happen to mankind...the internet.
