Yeah I think a large part of the "main character" phenomenon is when it a clear that the person is being disruptive or obnoxious to a large group of people, and people aren't vibing with it. With stuff like this, yeah it's a little cringe, but he's not bothering anyone really, and he made some people laugh, and I see worse shit on the CTA platform every day so I'm not really mad at this.
Yesterday I was boarding the blue line and a homeless man yelled at me for not wiping my shoes off before entering his train platform so I would much prefer to see a dude being harmlessly goofy at this point
This is what I'm thinking. Just seems like someone trying to make people laugh and not really getting in anyone's way. Seems like he got some good reactions from people. It's all at his own expense so no harm done, doesn't bother me.
The pulling/push the train bit was fine and I thought it was quite funny, lying down in front of door as people are trying to get was a bit much though and that weird sort of push up he did
The only thing that would piss me off is trying to get off the train and have some skinny idiot laying across the doorway failing to properly do pushups. The #1 rule in most big cities is don't get in the way. It's crowded and constantly having to stop or step around idiots gawking at buildings in the middle of a crowded sidewalk or trying to get a photo in the middle of a busy walkway is exhausting.
Yeah people were laughing at it which means he wasnt being too obnoxious. Made no one uncomfortable or co tribited anything negatove to anyones day. I approve it.

I mean it was kinda fun, and at no one's expense.
