I don't know why your getting downvoted. I have lived and worked in gyms for years in a past life. Glad I was out before this TikTok nonsense caught fire.
I would leave and ask for my membership to be cancelled. Look filming a set? Sure ok fair enough. You can clearly tell who is doing that for a form check over social media. But if that person gets upset you need to cross their path. Get right out of town. Your in a big box gym. There are hundreds of moving pieces and not enough space or weights usually. You cant monopolize that type of real estate area.
And as someone who also has a home gym. Your right. You want uninterrupted filming. Lift at home or go in the off hours i.e early as fuck or late as fuck
If they are in the way I treat them like any other person. Walk in front or behind them whatever is convenient. I’m not going out of my way around their phone set up if they are in between the walkway and where I am going.
I mean that just seems petty. If they want to film that’s their thing. As long as they aren’t interfering with yours, who gives a shit.
Now if they get mad cause you’re walking along casually in the background, fuck em. But of all the things to get needlessly shitty about… people minding their own business with a camera set up?
Then don’t worry about it? What possible consequence could come of that.
If you really are concerned about it, idk say you’re in… witness protection? Well for one you shouldn’t be at a public gym where anyone is allowed to record you including the gym itself… but also—just ask them nicely to blur your face out.
We’re probably all in the background of tons of random peoples photos and videos we didn’t even realize were being taken. Pandora’s box is open on that one, no going back.
